the way i see it, tongue is just another muscle...like all the other bits of meat/fish we eat  (unless we're vegans/vegetarians of course)

OMG!!! It looks like I've lost Kaz as she's apparently not back yet :D

She has to be one of the loveliest women I have ever met and her sons are a complete joy, they completely made our day and were so unselfish about where we went and how we did the day. DD is totally in love with her and I nearly ended up going home without her. She even packed me off home with a load of welsh cakes :D DS had a far better day with them there, he was getting so fed up with just his little sisters company.

They even had me doing archery!

Managed to get an early train back as the kids were shattered and we encountered a few nutters in the bus station. Stopped off to see eldest DD in her pub on the way home and DD ended up nearly bringing a strange man home, although I did feel that I was being flirted with too ;) That made a change and was a nice boost for the ego.

I'm absolutely shattered and my feet are sore but it was worth it, thank you Kaz for an absolutely lovely day.

  • Good evening everyone
Well I have just logged off from the chat line for the final time for today, I've been on for about 7 or 8 hours with breaks in between & I've had on average 5 calls an hour, most last only a couple of minutes so I've probably made about £6 or £7. I can log on tomorrow & the system will update & let me know how I'm doing so I'll keep you posted.
    Bye for now.

    Morning everyone

Just getting today's thread started while I'm up and about unable to sleep. I had a lovely day yesterday as I wasn't at w***. I didn't do anything particularly special, but that one day did allow me to get quite a lot done in the house. I love days off!

Last night I made the infamous Weetabix cake. OMG it is gorgeous! I'm going to have to slice it up and put it in the freezer to keep me away from it otherwise it'll disappear far too quickly.

There isn't too much else to report. Have a fab Friday everyone.

I havent slept well last night either.

No washing or cleaning to do as we are off to my sisters at the coast:D Cleaner is coming in today when we have gone. Will get her to empty the DW and clean the toilet;) Have done a note for her stating that a few jobs were not done last week and that I would prefer if she came alone and not with her daughters. Didnt mention about the coffee, but have left a couple of items about and will see if they get pinched, but wll ask her about the coffee-but rather do this face to face.

Mum called last night and asked if we could take her into their town this morning and that she would treat us to a cooked breakfast:D She has also booked an electric wheelchair so that I dont have to bring my own and she says that the mobility shops one..looks more comfortable! Saves putting it in the car I suppose.

Its very very dark and gloomy here today and is chucking it down with rain. Humidity still feels high though.

Anyway, I need a cup of tea and a biccie. Will log on at my sisters later or tomorrow. Hope you all have a good day and weekend.

    Hugs

    Morning

    TFI Friday:j :j

It seems to have been a long week this week like it was never gonna end!
Going out to dinner with my dad tomorrow night so that will be nice, apart from that this weekend that's about it, have loads of washing to do but cant dry the stuff so I must get a tumble dryer tomorrow a trip to curry me thinks.

It's the BB final tonight, I really wanted Pete to win but I have changed my mind about him I now can't stand him and the little brat Niki so I will be shouting for Richard as he seems the kindest one in there:j

    Hope everyone is well

God just realised what a boring life I lead for someone of 32, above should read, going to pub/lunch/club/shopping ect
