Those we love don't go away,They walk beside us every day,Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear
Our thoughts are ever with you,Though you have passed away. And those who loved you dearly,
    Are thinking of you today.
  • Morning everyone. Just a quickie to say:

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY TICKLEMOUSE!

Good time at the maize maze yesterday, but did end with my friend's son in casualty   Will fill in on all the details later.

My weetabix cake went down very well, but was too sweet. Got an incling of this when I was licking the bowl. Will reduce the sugar by 1/3 next time.

Off shopping with DD today. She wants to start dressmaking (wants to be a fashion designer) so off to good old John Lewis for pattern and fabric. Then lunch in their cafe and mooch round shops to buy her a coat and school trews. Hope to get smart jacket for me, for when I go off to court with w***. I don't usually do smart, but sometimes it's called for, and DD has much better eye for clothes than I do! :D

Have a great day all, Penny. x

    Disaster

Have just gone to make weetabix cake and brownies and found that I have no choc chips or mixed spice

Looks like its a trip to Mr Tesco's this morning , have carried on and prepared the rest of the dry mixes so theres no way they wont happen later :D:D

Maybe its time for a bit of a store cupboard inventory :):)

Amanda You could use cinnamon in the cake instead. Should turn out nice. I only used 1/2 cup in mine & it was sweet enough. Like PPen I found the first one too sweet.

    1/2 cup sugar that is. :}
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Good Morning All

    HAVE A GREAT DAY TICKLEMOUSE

Hope you all enjoy your shopping/cooking/fl activites.

Not sure what I am going to do here today, think will try and sort out the weekends food and get up our caravan around lunchtime - we really havnt used it much this year and thats annoying coz it costs us the same whatever.
Weather looks nice so should take advantage but there is loads i could/should be doing at home.

Wherever I am I need to pop to Asda or Iceland over the weekend to get some bits for a picnic on monday - we are going to Paradise Wildlife Park, am also taking DD's friend as DD is at that age where everything we do together is 'boring'.:rotfl: Dont you just love them.

Well better dash DS has just requested porridge for breakfast and is sooo starving.

    Have a great day.

Good morning everyone and happy birthday ticklemouse...

I am back after 12 relaxing days in Austria. We had a wonderful time... Our guesthouse supplied us with a card that got us free into most attractions and had three guided walks in it for us as well. We climbed a mountain, went to caves, did lots of stuff basically...

The lake was fantastic, so picturesque...

Well, wish you all a wonderful Saturday...

I was up a bit later than normal last night, due to the BB final (now there was a surprise result, not!!!) actually it was the chat on discussion time that i enjoyed, rather than the show!!!!!
