Morning everyone
Happy birthday Ticklemouse
The kids and i are having a lazy day today - they want to stay in their pj's and we are not going anywhere so i dont think it will do any harm!!! They are excited about it!!!!! Had a busy day yesterday doing all sorts of small jobs - had shopping to do, got the guitars for DD's, lunchboxes for school and we also sold some of our leftover slates for £35. Bit extra for the christmas fund!!!
Gonna have a lie in tomorrow and enjoy it as everyday next week we will have to be out the door by 9am to take DS to physiotherapy for 2 hours.
Hope everyone has a good day

Hi everyone,
Happy birthday Ticklemouse.
Have managed to get DD off to her festival but she is stuck in a queue on the M11  . Spoke to DS at the other V festival last night and he said it had poured all day. Luckily he was able to stay fairly dry I think because he's working security for some of the time.
Going to have a real go at flinging clutter today from bathroom and bedrooms, will let you know how I go on.

Happy Birthday Ticklemouse :bdaycake: Have a great one.
Hugs to all - I've read the thread in stages today so can't quite remember who said what, where, when or why.....
Phase one of my huge sort out starts today - got the builders coming in 2 weeks and we'll be without the living room and loft for 6-8 weeks  I've got to somehow fit all the furniture from the living room into the rest of the rooms, still be able to live and most importantly work.....it's going to be fun....(yeah right). I'm just about to start sorting out the computer desk, get the filing up to date, get everything stashed away into the right draws etc and aim to fill a bin bag with rubbish. I'm thinking one small step at a time and it wont seem so daunting.
Have the swimming pool emptying, think we've seen the last of the hot weather now so it might as well get emptied, dried and stored away now.
Had a mystery shopping job last night which took care of dinner for us all, got to do a re-visit later in September too (I like this free food and night out lark). Tonights dinner will be a "what ever DH decides to cook" - he enjoys cooking at the weekends.
Washing machine's just finished so will hurry up and get it on the line before starting on the desk and pray it doesn't rain.

one pack of 6 venison sausages
one pack of 6 pheasant and smoked bacon sausages
one rolled venison joint
one rabbit skinned, gutted and jointed
two lumps of cheese
1/2 doz. free range eggs
1.5 kg whole wheat flour rolled in the last working water wheel driven mill in
the country
one tub of local cream
one tub of kidney bean, chilli and parsley humus
some mushrooms
some spring onions
a big punnet of strawberries
three bottles of local micro brewery India Pale Ale
a bar of tea tree oil soap
So it's like Christmas - I've got lots of goodies stashed away to be eked
out over time. A Freecycle mate gave me a lift. It's really great how on-line communities help make and promote real life ones

Happy Birthday Ticklemouse! (I knew there was something I forgot to include earlier)
Got to sleep in today which was great, so am enjoying a lazy morning. Not sure what the chances are of getting into the garden today, as we got the wind and rain overnight, so the garden is completely sodden. Its a bit drier now though, so still haven't given up all hope - will just get out the wellies and dig awayTomorrow is also always an option!
I do have some indoor jobs to do to keep me busy though, so the day won't be wasted if I can't get outside. Need to pop to the shop at some point, but can get on with washing etc. so it should still be a productive day. Just had my breakfast/lunch - lovely bacon sodas with hazlenut coffee :j
Anyway, guess I should get going! Hugs to SnowyOwl, Kazonline, twink, penny-pincher, tootles, lillibet, jockettuk, penelope penguin, amanda666, poppycracker, essex-girl, ajax18, lynsayjane, catowen, elona, aussielass, ronankfan, purpleprincess, smashingblouse, metherer, snoozer, pooky and squeaky, and everyone who follows! :T0
