    Hi Everyone!
PP and A&CM - hope you both have a good kip.

I took the first of one of my sleeping tablets last night and thankfully slept from shortly after 12 until 6. A little bleary eyed this morning - but I do actually feel like I've had my best sleep in ages! It's great.
We're off to a booty for a gander with a bit of luck this morn, and then hopefully to watch a few surfers. We don't get brilliant surf near us - but hopefully this rotten weather will make it a little better.
Thanks again everyone for your support yesterday. I've not 16_3_122.gif out of it, but I did need to take a break, so today that is well and truly back on the 'to do' list - as is getting on with my laundry.
Isn't it strange to think that only a couple of weeks ago we were set to have a long hot summer? And now here I am debating over whether I can risk my washing on the line and that trampoline we worked so hard at putting up seems to be no more than a paddling pool now! lol.
Ah well, at least those of you that were having water shortages needn't worry now!
Well, best go drink my tea before it becomes iced!
Hope you all have a great day,
    Love and hugs
    Kaz x

    Morning all.

Well so far this morning have tidy round as did nothing when the kids went to bed last night, felt so shattered. Was in bed at 8.45 and asleep before 9pm - and this on a sunday night, may how my life has change since having kiddy winkles.

Got to work today but only 10 till 3. Then coming home to the in-laws so will be homemade pizza for t (must get it ready in BM!). Got to finish painting the lounge tonight as we didnt do it last night.

Sold the 2 scooty things on Ebay so should have lots more space in the shed tomorrow once the courier collects them. Plus got £100 for the 2 so that can go towards the replacement carpet for the lounge. Got lots of kiddy toys that need to sell too but thinking maybe nearer xmas as more may be looking then?? Although we need the space now so maybe just bite the bullet. Problem is everytime the kids see the box with the bits in they play with them. Had been sitting on the shelf for 6 months prior to this this no interest whatsoever.

Am hoping courier can come first thing that way I can catch the bus to Ely and get some stardrops and micro clothes from Wilko's and get those kitchen units sparkling.

Oh well off to iron DD's party frock and wrap present as she is off to a party later.

    Have a good day everyone:)

    Good Morning all
Sweet dreams to all those who have just gone to bed :)

Kaz those clouds are looking threatening and as you say the washing line dilemmas seemed to have started all ready. However after just recovering from the shock of the electric bill I think the TD will have to go unused for a while yet.

After attempting to clear Flylady hotspots earlier this week I can see it is going to be a battle. But my ironing basket seems to have entered itself into the guiness book of records for the highest laundry tower and I'm expecting to find Lord Lucan behind it....

Still HollyOaks or last nights X Factor may get me through it;)

Time for tea before the DS's emerge...

    Have a good day all

    Morning everyone.

Kaz, glad you got a good sleep :T arnie and Pinny sorry you both have to work later, I hope the rest of your day is good. Hiya Aussielass, I love abebooks too, they are on Quidco cashback too if you use that.

It is raining in drought-stricken London this morning and I'm waiting for it to stop before heading out for a walk. It is great to see green grass again though, so I'm happy to see the showers. The grass in the park close by was burnt to a cinder until a day or so ago and the leaves were dropping fast, the trees were so thirsty.

I've been keeping up as best I can with the daily thread but have to confess I've missed loads. I'm back on broadband at last so hopefully I'll catch up soon. Apologies for not keeping the breadmaker thread up to date, it shouldn't take long to get it back up to date, unless you have all been very prolific? :o

I brought my pannie with me when I moved but have not got sorted using it again, and I need to, now that I'm living near to water I appear to have aquired, duck, goose, moorhen. coot and carp feeding responsibilities :D I'm feeding them "proper" fod but they love a bit of bread!

Right, rain has stopped, I'm off to see what is new in the world.

Edited to say Hi Shell and Jo, I wasn't fast enough as usual.

    Morning Old Stylers,

LOL-I know what you mean with this clothes line debate. I purchased some of the airers that go over the radiators yeterday, I used to hang the clothes directly onto the rads but now can have twice as much on there. AND the lovely young lad at Argos gave me 2 sets instead of 1.................cue me saying nowt and scampering merrily out of the shop before he realised his mistake. In NZ when I was a kid we had a big airer with 6 rungs, made from big bamboo and pushed through holes in a bit of wood in each end. Hope I'm making sense! It was hung on the ceiling aboue the fire, used a pully system to get it up and down, was fantastic. Even used it on days like this in the summer, clothes would still dry in a day or 2 even without the fire going. Might try to find room for one in the kitchen sometime as the oven is on for cooking in the evening so would be warm in there.

Todays plan is...................dont know really. Might go out, might stay in, depends on how DH is feeling. I would prefer to stay in as it means we wont spend anything ;), might brave the park or something equally cost effective. Also need to crack on with some baking, the kids are out of biscuits and we are off to a friends house tomorrow for a play date so want to take some cup cakes.

Must also sort through the odds and sods I got in last years xmas sales to see if I have anything I can use for gift baskets.

Have a lovely relaxing sunday, for those that are working I hope it passes quickly and quietly.

    Love to all,
    Kiwi.

Back from sisters last night....it all got quite emotional yesterday as it was sisters and hubbys 9th anniversary and with all the problems..felt like something was going to happen:rolleyes: Sis had too much to drink and let rip at BIL and there was alot of stuff we ddnt know about and was quite upsetting. I just made sure the kids were upstairs with loud music on, so they couldnt hear:o

Anyways...WM is on with the first of 4 washes today as the bedding was stripped on Friday. DW empty and toilet have been cleaned. Everywhere else is tidy as cleaner did it all. She had left a snotty letter saying that with her girls there helping her, they did about 3 extra hours. I want her to clean though, not her lazy daughters...am I being picky? Havent asked about the Nescafe jar yet, but left 2 things in the fridge and both were taken and half a jar of sugar:eek:   I will call her tomorow to sort this out and looks like I maybe looking for a new cleaner:confused:

Im not feeling well this morning, but think its the stress of the weekend and some of my blood levels are low..all I want to do is sleep..but am pushing myself to carry on. Have taken extra pain killers and steroids today. My friend around the corner is preggers ATM, only 25 weeks and she has severe pre-eclampsia and have promised her that I will do her and her DD a roast dinner today, but OH will be helping out. I really need a few days to chill out as my brain is all over the place.

Had some good news though....................I got 92% in my Essay:D :D:D ...only 1 more left and my exam then thats another chunk of my degree done. Next course is starting in October and am looking forward to it.

Anyways, Ive got to go and have a bath as OH is free to help me now:j

See you all later. Hugs to all who need them and those who dont!

    Breakie: Tea and Biscuits
Lunch: R. Chicken, roasties, yorkies, stuffing, carrots, cabbage, peas & gravy
    Dinner: Soup & Roll

I must get this into my routine, as a fairly new OS I realise how much I spend on the kids 'extras', and as my eldest has a term of 'food tech' each year I have various opened bags, bottles and packets of essences, dried fruits and sugars !
There my challenge for today (and ironing pile avoidance......)

    Good morning all!

Gonna be a usual day for me here, but I'm not doing any gardening today. Yesterday, for some reason, OH decided to water the garden...despite it having rained most of the night before....Men!

Didn't manage to get to the charity shop yesterday either so will have to do that tomorrow. Either that or look on eBay. Can't shop online with Tesco OR Asda since I have a Visa Electron card and although they take it in the store, they don't take it online..... Still, I have a brand new visa debit card to start using at the end of the month so maybe I'll find something then.

    Well, that's my moan over!

Have a good sleep purpleprincess and arnie&caseysma. I'm so glad I don't have to work shifts anymore! Good luck with your OH with man-flu arnie!
Well done on the bargains Aussie, it's such a good feeling when you come away with something you need for much less than it usually costs (if that makes sense!)
Glad you had a better sleep last night Kaz, good luck at the car boot.
well done on selling the scooty things shell, and isn't it just like kids to ignore something for months then when you want it out of the house they suddenly decide they can't live without it :)
GOod luck with the ironing FrugalJo
    Have a good walk RacyRed
Good on you Kiwi :) We used to have one of those wooden airers as well....have now been reduced to little plastic ones...still it's better than having to hang the stuff over the doors!

Have a good day everyone, ((((hugs)))) to everyone who has to work today or is just in need of one.

PS Well done on the Essay P-P, hope you get the thing with the cleaner sorted out

PPS I've just read the end of yesterday's thread so CONGRATULATIONS to Ivyleaf on the birth of her new DGS!!!!!

Hi Racy.........lovley to hear from you again. Are you all settled into your new place? How did it all go. I expect it was pretty frightening at times. Was thinking of you.

PP Pmsl about your sticky fingered cleaner. :D Glad it's you and not me hun. I hate confronting people with things like that. Let us know how you get on. You poor thing. :rotfl: (((((hugs)))))

Didn't go for the walk as DH got busy chatting to the guy up the road. Off to interrogate him now. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)
