Well that's 3 bags of clothes & a box of bric a brac (old mugs, ornaments, unwanted Xmas pressies etc) sorted for the charity collection on Tuesday. Does anyone know if they'll take it all or are they fussy about how much they collect? It's for help the aged if that makes any difference

Better go, I can hear the WM on it's final spin.
((Hugs)) to Elona, we're all thinking of you.

    Morning all:D

Penny pincher congratulations on your 92% that is really good.

The littluns party/bbq went really well dispite the the weather, it peeded down all the time, but we had a couple of gazebos up so the bbq was still lit, the kids got loads of pressies and eveyone got on really well, we were a bit worried due to a few personality clashes:eek: . My fil and bestmates boyfriend have decided to go and play a game of golf together, so that was nice.
There is loads of food left over and I have no idea how it will all be eaten before it goes off or we get very fat:o , I think I will try and find a local homeless shelter and see if they want it.
I managed to tidy up by about 10pm, which I thought was preety good considering all the mess, can't believe baby is 1 next weekend it all goes so fast, he is trying to talk already which is really scary. dede- his big sis, ou his middle sis, ta- thankyou, hiya, byebye and of couse ma and dada and num num -food. They are all playing upstirs at the momment so I have a little quiet time.
not much planned today, will go out blackberry and elderberry picking later if the rain holds off and might take a trip to a new eco supermarket which has opened near by .

just a thought penny-pincher would it be more expensive to get a cleaner through a local cleaning company, then they would ensure that everyone is honest and a good worker, hope your sister is okay

    Goodnight everybody,

DH & I ended up going for a walk after tea. It was nice walking at night. I could see in everybody's windows :D and have a right sticky at their decor. Oh.........the soup turned out nice yesterday. It was actually tastier tonight. I froze about 3 servings.

Enjoy your day and I hope the weather fines up for all those that are going fruit picking. Lucky you. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

    Afternoon Everyone

Came back from Wales early as it was just so wet that everything felt damp and cold. Had a great time with my friend and DD though. Hope everyone is doing OK, had a really lazy day today as we are supposed to be on holiday.

Just got to get the stuff ready for work tomorrow and then we are nipping to MIL's later, getting back into OS properly this week after weeks of not doing much. Will try and post later with my plan.

    Have a good Sunda

Cheapest cleaning company round here is £11ph+ and tried one last year...dont know if anyone remembers the cr*p I had then too:eek:   Have asked SIL and she said she could cover ATM which eases my mind a little:D...will ask around and see if there are any recomendations from anyone locally:confused: Its annoying as the cleaner was pretty good and I am fussy, but she just started taking liberties and taking the pi*s. Her loss though;)

Got to go, as Ive promised DD that we will make some cards this afternoon.

    Take care all.

    Good Afternoon,

Feel really fed up and bored today, every room could do with a quick clean and tidy round but i dont wanna do it, think the WM is trembling at the sight of huuuuge pile of dirty clothes and i dont wanna use the TD and i refuse to keep running in and out with the weather being so unpredictable. So I have washing hung everywhere, (if the kids stood still long enough it would be hung on them too)

Im sick of the wallpaper in the living room and cant afford to change it yet.
Im hungry but cant decide what i fancy, also slept in this morning and still have that horrible "groggy feeling".

    Aaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh, thats better.

    afternoon.

would have been in sooner, but me and DH spent about 3 hours at B and Q, and spent over £800. Hopefully, we now have most things to do the DIY with, and I'm consoling myself that there are double points on the credit card this month, so we might actually have enough vouchers to buy something useful.

Apart from that, i let DH buy a wood chipper, and he is currently demolishing more of the back garden. I'm sat with my fleece on as all the doors and windows are open to encourage the plaster to dry quicker.

We'll be popping to my parents in a bit, as they are going away next weekend, and it sounds like mum needs help with a fly lady challenge. Since she has opened her shop last november, she works 6 and a half days a week, so she needs some help bottoming the house, and preparing for her break. She has never been very organised, and gets much more done when there is someone to guide her. She is also very particular, and if things aren't done precisely her way it niggles her. I said i would go and sort her out, by at least helping her write a list, and then organise it with her.

PP i vote for losing that particular cleaner. Although it would be inconvenient, there is no excuse for stealing from you. My MIL's cleaner is also slack, she has dropped their iron and not said, and then when they were away, left the iron on for 2 weeks. But like you, they can't manage without. Congrats on the essay by the way, at least no worries there.

ivyleaf - congrats on the new GS. Enjoy it while you can.

Elona - best wishes for tomorrow. I bet you will find relief that it is all over and you can get back into your routine again. I know it has all been a struggle at times.

going to go and try to drag DH away from his new toy.

    See you all tomorrow.
    Michelle, xx
