Good luck with it Tara :) Did you try the rolls from M&S?

I think there's something in this listening to your stomach malarkey. I've lost a pound and a half this week despite doing no exercise, and TOTM arriving today!

I do the listen to your body thing as well and it is pretty good - been doing Paul McKenna and last year I lost 1.5 stone on it but then slipped so trying to get into it again! Funnily enough I am eating the M&S mini rolls right now, hunted them out on your recommendation Alexnikov and they are gorgeous!! Hope everyone one is having a nice Friday!
P.s. well done Purpleroses, 9lb so far in April is amazing!

I haven't had a chance to get to M&S today Alex. I had a meeting which ended with lunch. Not only did I pass on the yucky mayo-tastic sarnies, I ate a large plate of the yummy fruit platter they'd kindly provided... followed by salad when I got back to my desk! Breakfast was a boiled egg and some nuts and prunes. I feel fab! :T:T:T

I will defo be investigating those rolls on Monday. :D

    Purpleroses - wow. :j:j:j

Well done Purpleroses-9lbs in April is great! :j I think with my Easter blip I'll probably end up having lost 5lbs or so in April, but I'll keep going and see if I can do better next month.

The low fat thing is just quite easy I think, especially now that nutritional information is displayed so clearly on foods, usually in 'per pack'/'per bar' style, which is really helpful. I've just had 3 of the big snackajacks at 0.3g each and weirdly feel really full! My hubby's laughing at me, because 2 months ago, boy could I EAT!!!:rotfl:

Maisie - I feel exactly the same, summer clothes are my main reason for doing this, have you got much too lose if you don't mind me asking? I really want to shift a couple of stone but tbh I'd be more than happy with a stone.

Hi Newbeginning - I would like to lose about 6 stone to be honest but realistically if I could lose 4.5 -5 I would be happy. I am getting married next March so that should be a big motivator but somehow I just can't seem to 'get into it'.

However my more pressing problem is my summer clothes for which I need to lose around 2.5 stones.

I am starting a fresh on Monday and am going to just try to make sure I eat 3 heathy homemade meals a day and resist takeaways and sandwich shops which are fully of fatty mayo sandwiches. Snacks I have lined up some apricots, nuts and carrot sticks with humous.
  • Hi all,

Am I too late to join? :o I will try for the last week of the month, and then join in properly during May.

This is shocking but I have gained 10lbs in about 3-weeks :( It's gutting as I really don't know what's going on. I have been exercising every two days which is something I never used to do. I'm beginning to think it's the menopause (very early) or something else causing it.

Anyway, I really hope it works out this time.
