eek am too scared to weigh in today!!
just been away on an all inclusive long weekend break and well lets just say I made the most of it and the 6 course dinners!!

I might weigh in a couple of days to give me a chance to get back to normal again

Alexnikov, that is such a good idea. I have toyed with the idea of doing this too, it is very anti-MSE but then I guess losing weight is worth the extra money. Those wraps sound fab btw, must hunt them out!

It needn't be massively anti-MSE, it's just that I'm partial to M&S food :rotfl:It'll probably just mean a bit more thought put into doing the shopping, and more proper cooking. I'm just wanting lots of fresh tasting stuff at the moment.

I do that with the tiny packs of veggie sushi, a little splugy treat but only about 100 cals is pretty good for an indulgant snack.
I lost 1 1/2 pounds this week, so I'm happy and only 1 pound to go to reach my holiday target.

Me too, ironically I'm at my most happy and energetic when I'm eating really good food and lots of fresh stuff. They say that overeating rarely happens when you're giving your body the nutrients it needs... if you don't, then no matter how much you eat your body will not be satisfied and will compel you to eat more in its search for whatever nutrients it is lacking.

Pregnant women must have a very highly developed sense of what nutrients they need, isn't that what cravings are all about?

p.s. Alex, how much are those rolls from M&S?

£2 for a pack of 6 mini rolls and a dipping sauce. I had the beef and Asian salad one but they do another one as well - I think it's mango salad and prawns.

Well done Vicki, that's brilliant :D Are you aiming to lose more when you're back from hols or is that your target weight nearly reached now?

I don't usually like prepared food, but the beef thingies sound yummy.

Today I hav squashed my hunger by making jam. A totally unnecessary task, that made me feel happy. TBH, it just feels great to be well, having had scares two weeks in a row being able to bizz a bout feels especially precious!

Both this saturadya and the saturday before I have had problems walking and lots of pain, my nerves going crazy. Symptoms I haven't had for months now. :( Also just weighed and since bloody eating more, but still strictly, as the dietitian and consultant felt sure was the next step said I have put on ten pounds. :(. I'm happy to accept its the middle of the day and I think I'm pre menstrual but still, I'm pretty fed up with it. :( They did say it was likely I'd gain a little before losing but...ten pounds?
