Oooh, what are you baking LIR?
(((((baking)))))
but
////////resulting weight gain\\\\\\\\
Today I baked some brownies and some baklava both of which will be perfect by the weekend having benefited from some sitting time. I'm doing lots in advance so I can relax a bit at the weekend.0 -
OMG LiR, I could not have that food in the house! I have had a disaster tonight, TOTM for me and I decided that I would get an individual bar of dark chocolate from the corner shop on the way home. I did and I thought to myself oh I will tidy up, make dinner and then have the chocolate after. Instead I ate the chocolate as soon as I got in, then had the packet of crisps that my friend left here 2 weeks ago, and then had 2 bowls of my boyfriend's chocolate cereal. Feeling really queasy now, realising that I really don't like milk any more and cereal is fake synthetic food that doesn't really have any nutrients. Luckily there isn't anything unhealthy left to eat in the house but I feel really bad about myself again now. Plus I haven't run for 2 weeks and I have to do a 10k in 3 months and a half marathon in 5 months. I'm starting to panick again now....
Sat here watching the diet programmes, watched 3 episodes of eat yourself sexy and now on supersize v superskinny. Wish I was one of these people that eat rubbish their whole lives then get introduced to veggies and low fat and lose 4 stone in 2 weeks. I've been on a diet since I was 17 and find it so hard to lose weight. I'm feeling low
Tomorrow will be a better day, I absolutely have to get to the gym for a start, I think my boyfriend will drag me even if I cry over it :T0 -
Hi Everyone!! Can I join in please? I know most of the month is gone but better late than never or so they say. I will weigh myself on Saturday if that's ok as it is TOTM at the mo so would rather wait than give myself a heart attack. Non the less from right now I would like to lose 4lb in the last week and a half or April! Hope That's all ok with you guys, don't want to butt in but just read through your thread and you are so motivational!!!0

And another thing  why are there so many adverts for food on the tv. Non stop cereal ads, ketchup ads, pringles ads, bernard matthews ads, alcohol ads. Maybe I need to stop watching tv:eek:
Welcome spuddy, good luck for the rest of the month, hope my ranting doesn't scare you away0 -

I hope you feel better soon treeny
Hi Spuddy!
LIR, your food sounds yummy!!!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
Weigh-in day for me today and I've stayed the same. I was a bit disappointed to start off with, but with hindsight it's been a mixed week food-wise, so I feel a bit better about it now. I weigh myself on the Wii fit and although there's been no change in my weight, my BMI has reduced by a teeny, tiny amount down from 25.74 to 25.71 so perhaps I have lost a couple of ounces! Also, I last weighed myself first thing in the morning before any tea or breakfast, whereas this morning I'd both before I weighed-in.
Now that the weather is a bit nicer I've rediscovered how much I enjoy running, have been going out once per week but going to try to up that to twice a week on top of the usual spinning & weights classes.
Well done to everyone who has lost or stayed the same :T

I'm trying something a bit different this week and listening to what my body actually wants to eat (within reason). It might be a tad more expensive than normal as I seem to fancying lots of M&S snacks at the moment but mmmmm, my breakfast of mini ginger beef wraps and Asian salad wraps was gorgeous!! And only 50 cals.0

vicster, good to see you on the chocolate thread. I don't want to take away from this thread but I just have a huge well of thoughts inside me and wanted to be able to spill it all out somewhere and not hog this thread completely. Also, I need to record the chocolate that I'm eating so I'll shame myself into doing something about it.
jack92, sts is better than gaining and it sounds as if your breakfast may have made a slight difference!

Alexnikov, that is such a good idea. I have toyed with the idea of doing this too, it is very anti-MSE but then I guess losing weight is worth the extra money. Those wraps sound fab btw, must hunt them out!Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
