not heard of power plate what is it?

It's a vibrating plate that helps to tone muscles, you stand on it and do squats etc. The idea is that your muscles contract many more times than they would during a normal gym workout.

They recommend three 10-minute sessions a week. It is intended to work alongside cardio exercise to help you lose weight. Google it and you will find reviews and info. Most gyms have them now, as do some beauty salons. HTH!

    Hi everyone :)

Well I'm back from a week of holiday and birthday celebrations and I've stayed the same. Quite pleased with this - clearly the hiking up massive hills has counterbalanced all the cake and sweets I've been scoffing! It's a bit scary how easily I've found myself giving in to temptation but back to the usual routine as from tomorrow and I will be good and stop snacking on crap I don't really want.

  • Well done all! :T Glad to hear you're all having a positive few days!

I fell majorly off track on Thursday and just didn't really get back to it, OH took me out for a lovely last minute lunch on Thu to celebrate the last day of his hols, and since then I've been trying to write an essay that's due tomorrow - don't know why I need to have food in my hand to be able to sit down and get through these things!

Back to it tomorrow though, went to a wee girls night last night and I'm totally disgusted with how big I am in comparison to the rest of them - time to stop moaning and do something about it though eh???

Have a happy Monday all when it rolls round!

    xx

PS Tara, I might just drag myself along to the gym tomorrow and see if they have a vibrogym! Oh, and how are things with OH?

Hugs to you CWM, and hope you get back on track. You know you can do it! Try the vibration plate if they have one, I cannot believe how good it is. My muscles are still achy from Friday, that never happens!!! I really hope it keeps on working, I could have a peachy bum by mid summer! :rotfl:

Things are better with OH thanks, we had a big talk yesterday and we are working things out. Hope so anyway. :)

I am so tempted to have a HL tiramisu that's in the fridge... yummers...
