Morning all,
Firstly Tara, sorry to hear you've been having a few struggles. I really hope you manage to get them sorted soon.
Well I've had my weigh in this morning and have managed to shift the 2lbs I put back on, so I guess that's some progress! :rotfl:I'm a bit fed up with myself really cos I feel like I've 'wasted' 2 weeks of weight loss if that makes sense, but I need to focus on the 1st 2lbs loss since the beginning of March and feel happier with myself-easier said than done though!
Anyway, onwards and upwards! And on the plus side, I've been doing an hour of wii fit most days so that must be helping (although it wasn't very happy with me for putting the 2lbs on-telling me 'It'll take you a lot longer to reach your goal now'!
:rotfl:)
Well done to all the losers and chin up to those who haven't lost...repeat after me, 'Onwards and upwards', 'onwards and upwards' (or should that be 'downwards'??!)

CG - you've lost 16lbs in what 6 weeks??? That's a phenomenal loss! You should be majorly pleased with yourself!! :j:j
Think how long it took to put that weight on - having a wee blip for a week is really nothing major!
I should be heading out this morning to do day 2 of my new running plan, my legs are actually a wee bit stiff from yesterday though!I'm thinking I might hold off 'til later, if I even go for a swim first I'm hoping it might loosen my muscles off a bit!
Happy slimming for today everyone!!

CG77, you have lost a lot...are you following a particular diet or plan?0

Thanks CWM and LIR!
I posted on the March thread about what I'm doing so I've just copied and pasted it again below.
I'm just eating low-fat and trying to keep carbs down a bit cos they're my downfall! So a typical day for me would be:
breakfast: branflakes with skimmed milk, a cup of coffee (no sugar, skimmed milk)
lunch: a wholemeal roll with ham (fat cut off) and mustard (no butter), and a banana
evening meal: chicken and loads of veg, maybe a couple of new potatoes but limiting them.
And loads of water through the day! I have to say I find it boring though so am having a quarter of a glass of apple juice topped up with water.
I did say on there that I wasn't doing any real exercies but as i said in my last post I'm now 'wii fitting' for an hour a day whenever I get chance.

That seems like a good plan but I was just wondering, how much weight do you have to lose?0 -

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
Well done Marie2, you must be chuffed!
Tara, hope you're feeling better soon
Thanks for the tips crap with money...I did have the balance board in the same place but might try putting it on top of some hardback books and see if that makes a difference! And it is the first couple of weeks of eating sensibly so I guess a larger weight loss makes sense and I do have a way to go!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
