I'm in need of kick starting the healthy eating. Just had a nice bowl of veg and a little pasta with tomato and chilli sauce. It was really yummy and i've discovered i really like courgettes, only bought them because they were in a reduced bag of mixed veg.
lost, i'm always saving up calories for things and wondered if it was bad for me. I mostly do it because of the kinds of things OH likes to eat for dinner. Even though i have half as much as him of some things i still have to have tiny lunches like bowls of brocolli or ryvita. Sometimes im just being naughty and saving for tasty puddings though.
OH is away this weekend so i've got a bit more freedom to eat what/when i want.He likes his huge evening meals and i'm a grazer.
Not sure i posted in the end last month but i lost about 1.5 lbs in march and haven't lost anything yet this month.0 -
LIR, I think I might try out the dinners on that diet. I could have just a chicken fillet and veg, no problem. I think that taking away the choice maes it easier in a way.
crapwithmoney, thank you for your kind words. We will get there in the end, I just know it.

Hope you're okay Tara xXx
Had a bad day today; finised off some Celebrations a customer brought into work, munched loads of bread and butter all day, the guy from the takeaway brought in a free pizza for me (it was yum) and scoffed the rest of my Easter egg. Not good! I'm writing today off! At least I will be mega busy at work tomorrow (Grand National day) sowill have no time to eat anything - just mainline coffee!
Congrats on the loss purpleroses!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -

Am I too late to join? I've briefly read through and it seems you're each doing different methods of weight-loss, am I right?

If I'm too late I'll sling mi hook 'til May's challenge

Aww sweetie, sorry you're feeling like that, hope things are better after a sleep.
If not then the weather's nice for walks today.
I recommend audiobooks for walks. My hour walk felt like 5 minutes. Im behind the times - it's the first time i've tried an audiobook (think i was put off by reading out loud sessions at school).
electric_comperella, we're not strict on joining at the start of the month so jump right in0 -
Electric-comperella - You don't have to have been here since the beginning of the month so just join in
Tara747 - hope you're OK today.
Have weighed myself this morning and am very pleased to report a loss of 2lbs :j I'm really happy with that, given that it's been Easter and I've eaten far more chocolate than I intended to. Good news is that all the Easter eggs have now been eaten - hooray! That probably sounds very ungrateful but I was finding it so hard to resist when I constantly saw open packets of chocolate every time I went to the fridge.

2lbs and chocolate, well done!
I think chocolate eggs are probably the worst kind of chocolate for trying to restrain yourself. The lack of separate pieces means you just keep breaking off little bits until you suddenly realise how much has gone0
