April's Alluring Anti-adipose Adherents

Evening all,
It seems that chocolate is a weak point for most of us. Like you jack92, if I have a little bit of chocolate, I end up eating a lot so I try not to have it in the house, and if I do get given chocolate as a gift, I try and share it or give it away so I don´t have the temptation at home.
Did you take your easter egg to work purpleroses? I was given quite a few chocolates for Christmas and I gave most of them away. I feel a bit bad doing this when I love chocolate and I know people have spent quite a lot of money on them and chosen ones they know I like, but at the end of the day you have to decide what you want: to lose weight or eat all the chocolates; and if you can´t ration yourself, like I can´t, it´s better to get rid of it.
Funnily enough, I wanted to buy myself a chocolate and mint lipbalm I saw advertised in a magazine (I think it is made by Palmers) over easter to try and get a bit of a calorie-free chocolate fix but I couldn´t find it where I live.
Anyway, I´ll change the subject now as all this talk of chocolate is making me feel hungry.
Let´s hope we can all find the motivation to make April a good weight loss month. Try and go out in the sunshine for a few minutes when you can, or rather when the sun comes out,- it really does lift your mood, thus helps motivate you to get more exercise and eat more healthily.0 -
I did take it to work and they ate it all thankfully! Because of the weight loss meds i'm on I can't really have it anyway but its good to get rid of the temptation.
I got up early today hoping to go for a walk before work but of course its raining again. hopefully it'll clear up and i'll get out later.
Have a good day all0 -

Hey all,
Do you mind if I join in purlees?
I was around quite a bit on these challenges last year and it helped me to shift a grand total of 2 stone!
HOWEVER - since my motivation was being bridesmaid at my bro's wedding, I took my eye off the ball as soon as the wedding was over, and whaddya know - I've gained just over a stone! Hhhhhmmmmppphhh!!
So if it's ok with all of you - I'm back with my tail between my legs! I've started slimming world today, and am planning on heading to the gym later this afternoon!
xx
Oh and my stats:
H: 5'7"
W: 11Stone 1Lb (I think, my OH won't let me have scales in the house as I become a bit obsessed, so I last weighed myself last week when I was at my mums!)
BMI: 24.3 Eeeeekkkkk!!!0 -
Hi all, well it's weigh in day for me today, and thankfully I had a sts!
I think I cheated though, cos I weighed in as usual this morning in the chemist and it said I was a 1lb heavierand then I took the kids swimming, and weighed again on the scales there and hey presto that 1lb had disappeared
! but i'm gonna go with that if that's ok :embarasse.
posh x x x:money::money::money::money:
