They might not cover electrical wiring per se but should cover damage caused by the water leaking (which in this case affected the wiring) if you see what I mean.LBM 10/08 £12510.74/0

Several text messages received from Husband asking if we are over does not seem to comprehend what he has done and is shocked that I kicked him out !!
Just last few items of his fishing gear in the shed to clear out, which hopefully should be next weekend.
Had a phone call from my friend and she is working today but is calling for a cuppa with me this afternoon so I am looking forward to that. :j Haven't seen her for a while as I was 'never allowed' before.
The pile for ebay is growing and my list of jobs is decreasing :T
Feeling more positive than this morning, had something to eat without feeling nausea, have still got headache though so must take some painkillers me thinks and then sort washing out again. Hoping to get some dry outside but the weather doesn't look too good oh well can't complain at least it hasn't snowed !!!!

They're all a bit of a mystery to me, I'm afraid... lots of people do know about them & do them, & I've found Hypno is quite the genius for many a situation so check out her diary when you're next about. Thanks for this I have found and read Hypno's diary hence very late posting.
Electrician rang to cancel tonight but has arranged for Thursday night, also another friend has suggested to get 2 quotes both are friends of friends (both qualified I hasten to add!)
Paid my dad for some materials to carry out some work to my house just to make it look a bit better from a selling point of view plus if I can't sell then it will make my life easier as I won't need to maintain the wood cladding as it will be UPVC and the soffits too will be replaced.
I have previously mentioned my neighbours house which is attached to mine  (potential buyers have asked whether it is derelict!?!?!?) They have had a problem with rats !!! in their house. The rats had entered their house through the aforementioned wooden cladding by chewing a hole through into their dining room. They do not seem to have a problem with this, the rat has been seen in their kitchen bin etc and heard scurrying around in their kitchen whilst they are sat in their open plan lounge/dining kitchen (you would not believe it !!) I have been told that they had one under their bath and fed it cornflakes soaked in antifreeze!!
I have heard the rat(s) scurrying across my ceiling when I have been sat in my lounge especially when the house has been quiet. On a night when I am sat on my pc it sounds as if they are in the wall cavities too!
Previously we have called out the environmental health services and my neighbour refused to let them in. My Hubby was told that our house was well looked after and clean, tidy etc etc and that we could have camera's put down under the floorboards to see how many rats there are etc and whether they have nests and the charge would be £68.00 for baiting and 3 home visits. (He is a compulsive liar so maybe the camera part wasn't true?) The whole thing is making me feel quite ill with worry. I take good care of my home and I feel dirty!:(
I know it is worth paying it just for peace of mind, but as it is a semi-detached then surely they will need to do both properties? I do not think that they will pay for it doing! Neither party will pay straight away but by invoice at a later date (I know that they will not pay for it even then!!) Does anyone know if the Environmental health can make them have the property treated??
Also had another call from the Estate Agents and have another viewing booked for tomorrow night. Need to get some updated photo's taken for the brochure as had some work done recently which will help it sell (yeah right!) especially in this climate.:T
Work collegue suggested bacon and mushroom sarnie in our canteen and work so spent £1.30 on that (all because I was late up and didnt have time for any breakfast !) Went out for lunch today with aforementioned friend so spent £6.80 on that, then call at a local cash and carry for some dog treats they were on offer £1 for 2 packs so stocked up on those. Bought a glass vase as I had two bouquets of flowers bought recently and only had one (£2.99 + VAT) !?!?! But when is this likely ever to happen again??? ....waste of money...bought a door chime as I have a thick wooden door as I cannot hear people knocking when I am upstairs grrr all in all £30.00, wish I had just drove past the place (mental note to oneself do not go again especially as you didnt even get what you originally went for !!!):(
Payday in 9 days will see what ever is in current account to pay off a debt or maybe the electrician will swallow that up??
Am going to look into matched betting/surveys/mystery shopping.

Had the viewing last night they liked the house just made the usual comments of the neighbours house which unfortunatley is attached same old, same old  nothing that I haven't heard before although after speaking to her today she has said that they are going to tidy up the front garden 'as it looks an eyesore!' and that they are going to have their wood cladding replaced in UPVC :j not bad after 9 years and the house looking worse than when the first bought it but still its a step in the right direction...funnily enough have heard it all before
On the NSD's I forgot that I had an appointment at the Doctors to review my medication. He thinks that I have made progress over the past 3 weeks as I am no longer shaking or feeling sick driving in to work.
Yesterday wasn't as NSD either as I had to call the Enviromental Health to come and tackle the issues of the vermin. Had to pay out £68 by card over the telephone before they would come out. This includes 3 home visits... told aforementioned neighbour about this and she swears by cornflakes and antifreeze and is under the impression that the rats will leave as it is summer now!! Dunno where the dead bodies are ending up just hope its under their floorboards and not mine.:(
Took today off work and tomorrow as my sleeping is very erratic at the moment and after 3 hours sleep the other night felt ill again. Made up for it this morning by having a lie in.
Am going to make a list of the jobs that I need to get done for over the next few days as this will keep me motivated and off FB!!
[STRIKE]sort out wooden shed (hubby's fishing gear etc)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]tidy out brick shed and have a good clear out[/STRIKE]
list items for sale ready for ebay
Strip bedroom wallpaper off
Paint bedroom ceiling
Paint bedroom walls
(Fresh start an' all that)
[STRIKE]Sort out household bills in to files[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Shred previous old bills[/STRIKE]
Defrost freezer(s)
Return items to B&Q for credit note which hopefully will then pay for my bedding plants etc
[STRIKE]Exchange standard lamp at B&Q[/STRIKE] (AGAIN!) 2nd one that is faulty!!
Read matchbetting paperwork
[STRIKE]Make list of storecupboard items[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make list of freezer items[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]
Do menu plan
[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]]Do shopping list ready for when I get paid next week.[/STRIKE]
My son has gone away to his fathers for a few days as he is not at college. I don't eat very much as I have lost my appetite, although some days it returns with a vengance. So don't need no shopping til later next week!
I have decided that if any of my friends ask me to go out then I will accept. At least I now have a choice whereas before I was never allowed to go, again one more step towards total freedom might only be a baby step but at least its forwards and not back.

Thanked 12 Times in 6 PostsLegal Aid Calculator
Hi there.
I'm really sorry to hear what has happened to you. It seems like you have already had some legal advice. I agree with the other poster that you should get a divorce and a 'clean financial break' from this man. You may not be ready for it right now, but it is worth finding out your options.
You might qualify for Legal Aid, which might not be free but at much lower cost of instructing a solicitor privately.
I tried to put figures into the Legal Aid calculator (although I had to guess some).
http://www.communitylegaladvice.org....execution=e1s1
You don't have to launch straight into doing anything you don't want to do, but you should get independent advice.
If you don't qualify, then you could see if local firms have a low cost or free first interview.
Wishing you well
Thanks for this I have just checked my figures and unfortunatley I will have to pay for the divorce as my income is too high. Although I can obtain a non molestation order FOC if needed. I am feeling very lonely today.
Its my daughters 18th birthday tomorrow, she is having a party in Lincolnshire with all her friends tonight and her brother has gone to spend a few days with her:beer: I am missing both of them at the moment.
I guess I am missing the 'nice' part of my hubby. The cuddles and just him being there, even to do the horrible jobs like emptying the bins etc, cleaning out the blocked drain etc. don't miss the horrible part..does that make any sense?
Its hard to get motivated today. It started off a good day, took the dogs for a walk, the electrician has been and am waiting for a quote for that. Briefly saw my parents as electrician came early.
Listening to the radio, whilst typing this Alicia Keyes playing 'Cos its over'. I am going to have to force myself to go out and spend sometime in the sunshine maybe that will make me feel better?
Feel totally miserable. Trying to keep everything together and put on a brave face.
Sorry for the whinge.Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=1 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]£16700

You are doing so well so far.
Of course sat on your own at a weekend with no work to do and no kids to look after you're bound to have time to think.
Just keep on going..I know it's hard but you are definitely better off without him.
Have you got a friend that you can invite around/go and see?...you could probably do with some company.0 -
thanks Taxi73
I took your advice and rang one of my friends and went over to her house for a couple of hours.
After several more abusive texts from Hubby I was so mad at his accusations that I took all of his fishing gear, clothes/shoes/Cd's etc which he had conveniently 'forgotten' to take out of the shed...the car was brimming and took them to the hostel where he is staying.
Needless to say there was numerous sorry's and floods of tears (me thinks crocodile tears, nothing worse than a man crying to pull at your heart strings tho') (Sunday)
I rang his support group worker yesterday (I do have authority to speak to her) to ask her opinion as to whether he has made any improvements over the past few months. The answer was as expected, I know in my heart of hearts that nothing is going to change and my gut instinct is to file for divorce.
I went to see him last night as I didn't think it was something that could be said over text needless to say I wish I had done. He has talked me into waiting another month before filing as he wants to prove that he can change - just another way of controlling me and the situation again!
The electrician has been and it is going to cost £300 all in. This includes a new fuse box (very outdated only had 2 fuses in it!) It is something that I would have needed to have done to sell the house otherwise the surveyors would have knocked it on that, this also includes sorting out the electrics as my bedroom light only comes on when the downstairs ceiling light is switched on and the porch light doesn't work at all something to do with the 'loop'. Also fitting another socket in my bedroom. Luckily I have the money from taking a payment break on my mortgage last month put aside for such emergencies. The good news is that my electrics will be safe on Thursday!!
On the positive side have managed to have NSD's on Sat, Sunday and Monday.:j Today will have a spend of around £13.00 but apart from that aiming again for a NSD on Thursday too but going out on Friday night with my friend and possibly Saturday night too. Need to change No to Yes and accept the offers of a night out. It will be a cheap night out though as she is driving and it is that long since I have had a drink 2 vodka's and I will be anyones !
I have also claimed back my expenses from work of £28 which will go in the debt pot to offer to a creditor at some point when it arrives!:)
Payday on Friday :j
Hope you all have a lovely day, the sun is shining which makes everyone feel so much better xxTotal debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=1 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]£16700
