Dear Diary
Not a lot to report really ....had a pretty uneventful weekend apart from yesterday when my sister's OH told me that he had spoken to !!!!!! and !!!!!! had informed him that he had, had to go back to work as he has got a 2 month old baby :rotfl::rotfl: how low can he possibly go??? He is now making up the fact that his OH has had a baby.... strangely enough I had mentioned it in my divorce petition, if it had been true then surely as such a proud dad then he would have been showing a pic of his baby?!?!?!?
What a liar he is  ....just hope that the Judge sees this on my divorce petition and allows my costs which amount to £1200 as of now.....:)
Last week I posted that one of my creditors had progressed to a CCJ or at least I had received court papers.....I completed them fully giving an explanation as to why I objected to paying the court costs etc...and the good news is that Restons solicitors are no longer dealing with debt but have passed it back to the original creditor which is MBNA :j I did quote a couple of things from the BBA website about them being unsympathetic etc...it looks like it worked though and have now received the relevant forms to pass to my doctor.:)
They have also sent me some forms for me to complete to allow a third party to act on my behalf. I am okay with letters and prefer this contact as I get all anxious and tearful on the telephone when I have to recall what happened and find it really difficult to have conversation, my throat drys up and I cannot speak.:(
On the job front I have found out that the secondment is not looking at paying for me to carry on my work here and have stated that they will look to a different organisation to provide the same service if my present company can't find funding to allow me to stay here. The decision that I have to make tonight is whether I stay here until the extension runs out which has incidentally gone down a month now to 2 months - knowing full well that I can't really do anything or assist anyone further as its not a straight forward job, or do I go back to the main job HO and take my chances and hope that they can magic a full time job for me but still going down the redundancy route process. Either way seems like the rock and a hard place.
OH is now pushing me to take my CBT test. As I will need to pay £1000 a year for parking which equates to £4 per day which is relatively cheap to work in a city centre.....or if I take the bus its £5.50 return each day and adds an hour onto my journey. I am okay with taking the CBT and had a sit on his beastie at the weekend and went through the gears, and where everything is on the bike, whilst I am no where near an expert then it seems a bit less daunting....
Well this evening I am doing some shadowing so that should be interesting.....:) although a late night will ensue no doubt.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening

hiya folks
been missing for a few days as the work schedule has been hectic....plus have frantically been applying for another job as I have been told that I will have to go through the process of redundancy in the not too distant future.
I have accepted the inevitable although I will be very sad to leave my secondment, I know that its probably the right time to leave my main employment too, things have changed drastically and not for the better, with more peeps been made redundant the remaining staff are not having to do their own jobs but also the colleagues that have left too...morale is at an all time low especially as none of us have had pay rises for the past 3 years.
Money is still going in and out of my hands on a right ol' gallup at the moment with a huge phone bill of £148.00 for a quarter and only £3.80 of this was for actual calls  (as both OH and I have mobiles with 600 minutes on)....I am locked into this contract until next June I think....then will be looking for a cheaper alternative....went to pay the bill to prevent the monthly amount going up to £68.00 the bt site froze, then when I went back on it froze again, no receipt or anything but checked again and it had been taken twice....rang BT said that it takes 5 working days to arrive back in my account  not sure as to why?? when it can go straight off my debit card !!!
I have received an email today inviting me for an interview next week, it is in the same line of work that I do now although it is only temporary for 8 months to cover maternity pay. It is only slightly further away from where I work now...but until my own company give me notice, I will be giving up a permanent job for a temporary one....(if I am successful)..not sure how I feel on this and I guess its a suck it and see case...
I have now received my date for the scan which is the 11th July just before I go back to the doctors on the 14th....just hope that the results are back before then....its part of an ongoing problem which saw me 5 years ago having to have a hysterectomy, but the specialist left my ovaries intact...so will just hope that it is nothing too serious.
Hope that everyone else is okay and enjoying the hot, hot weather

Hiya Folks
I have been on a course for a couple of days and yesterday I went into our HO, was told that I was going to be made redundant and basically 'that if my secondment wasn't willing to pay for me' then my boss said that they can basically 'F**k off'. So I stayed at HO but in the meantime she emailed the secondment and they have confirmed 'that they will pay until the end of September for me to stay there although will not fund it past that' and 'will look to some other organisation to offer the same service free of charge'. So I asked as to when she was going to pull me out of the secondment and then I was told that I have to fulfill the contract until the end of September.
Talk about being messed about!! So I am not on redundancy notice afterall and can not take time off for interviews....but if I take them as holidays then it will look a bit sussand will mean less pay on redundancy package.
I think I have decided not to attend the interview on Monday - as I will in fact be giving up a full time permanent job for a temp one which will not turn into a permanent contract and it is only for 8 months, if I did and didn't like the place and left then I wouldn't be entitled to JSA as I would have walked out of a job...this means that I will lose my redundancy too.... OMG head is a shed!!
Today was my CBT test too. I haven't been on a geared bike since I was 16 and had a bad experience and came off. I managed to get going okay in a straight line but trying to slip the clutch and keeping the revs going around a corner on the controlled bit, I couldn't manage it. The other 4 guys had all ridden bikes, one was on a scooter and one was on a 125 scooter. I was riding a suzuki van van which was really heavy and was really struggling freewheeling it round and the instructor had to help me.
I knew we had to be off the test centre for 12 as it was a shared yard. The other lads were all tootling about quite merrily but the instructor told me to try a moped. Did everything perfect on that....went and had the highway code talk and then he said that I would need to rebook for my road test as they only had a 1 x 125 scooter and another guy was on that.....:oso the lads all went off for their road tests and I have had to rebook mine.
Don't really want to have a moped even a big one, wanted a geared bike, needs loads more practice though and OH has said that he will help me by talking and showing me more on his....so hopefully when I take my test next I will be able to do it on a 125 geared bike instead of a moped....
I have decided to put my debts as a lump sum as to what they were and what they went down to and what they are as of today's date. Tomorrow another round of payments will go off although these are only small token payments totalling £35 but will reduce my totals once it has been done.
I am still doing quidco £132.35, Greasypalm £191.91, Topcashback £144.67 tracked so far, these do take ages to come through and I have a couple extra VIP codes for GP which should add another £70 so totals £538.93, I am hoping that I can put this towards one of my debts and try and put some more money to and try and clear my employers loan..:T
My survey panels have reached £10.00 boots voucher and £10.00 amazon so far these I will be using for xmas pressies. I
enjoy your evening everyone bf xx

RANT RANT RANT......:mad::mad:
I ache so much today with struggling to get that damn bike round yesterday and still have to go back and do my road test.....:(
I spoke last night to my OH with regards to how the instructor was with me and he said that it sounded like 'we didn't gel'. I felt like he was taking the proverbial to be honest and he made me feel like an idiot, I told him that I had never ridden a geared bike before. On the advert it made out that the training ground was just theirs but it wasn't it was shared with a go-karting school so this reduced the amount of time actually spent 'training' which was all in all about 4 hours total - well thats for the guys that took theirs as they went on to have a 2 hour road test....there was 5 of us all booked on the course and they have a limit of 2 learners with one instructor so it was obvious that they couldn't take us all out.....:mad: Why book 5 learners?? with only 2 instructors...
Normally I wouldn't have minded paying the £95.00 for the day but I had to take a days holiday and sit there from 8.15am to listen about how to clean your helmet, what clothes to wear, whats inside a helmet etc. be stuck on a bike that was way too heavy for me the other lads taking there tests even questioned why they had given me such a heavy bike? To be stood there like a lemon whilst the others are all getting ready to go out on their road tests, to be told that I would have to rebook. It really wasn't the pleasant experience that I thought it would have been....:(
So this weekend I am going to practice on OH's bike....omg !! he is so trusting especially as it is a big beastie...:o he says he will talk it through with me and as he learnt his sister how to ridethen I am hopeful that he can do the same for me....then when I do go back to do the road test I can do it on a geared bike.
Abba I have bought everything that I can possibly think of to get it to this total....and signed up for freebies galore...the big things were my car insurance/gas/elec companies to be changed etc...next thing will be my home insurance but thats not until October....
Have a good day everyone BF xx

Was reading on another post about a payment a day and it reminded me that I haven't checked my bank account since last week.
I haven't really spent much over this week apart from a couple of sarnies £1 each when I was on a training course....so I was shocked to find that I have £115.00 to last me two weeks whilst this is more than other peeps have I was expecting more. On closer examination of my bank statement there was three payments of £112.03 taken to pay BT.
Let me explain a bit more last week I went to pay a chunk of my bill as I didn't want my payments to increase to £68 per month to BT online. As I entered my debit card details I got as far as verified by visa and the computer froze, this happened twice and by the third time it eventually went through. I checked back on my bill to make sure the payment had got to them properly and it showed that I had paid twice. So I rang BT and explained the problem and they said that they will send one amount back but will take 5 working days. So that was refunded on the 29th no problem.
So I have just spoke to someone in India, who says that it is only showing as two payments on their system, my bank says different so now I have to send a copy of my bank statement to BT who now says that it will take 7-10 days to refund it as they have not got it on their system as being in credit.....
I have just rang my bank only to be told that all their systems are down....and that I should ring back in an hour....said that they might be able to recall the payment :T so fingers crossed til the Halifax get their accounts back online......Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700

Managed to get back in touch with the bank and they gave me the authorisation codes so I emailed these back to BT they said that they have received 2 of the three payments and are trying to find my missing payment....
On a personal note....I went to the interview on Monday and thought that it had gone appauling...when they asked me if I had any questions I just looked at the panel and said No !! Came out and thought that I had totally blown it...they said that they would make their decision and be in touch with me later that date....well I am pleased to say that I was successful and they offered me the job :j I did mention that I thought that the interview had gone awful, but they said that they could tell that I was nervous and I didn't sell myself very well, but taking into consideration as to where I work they said that I would have had to do a lot more than what I actually said at the interview...
So I have accepted the new post...it is the same line of work but for a different organisation it is only temporary until the end of March to cover maternity pay but at least it is a job and means that I can start looking again as at least I know its temporary. It is 3 days a week 22.5 hours which in effect means I will be worse off by £25 per week.....for 2 days less work....:) where now I work 37.5 so in effect I have to work an extra 17.5 hours for £25....if you understand what I mean. I have already spoken with the school secretary at our local highschool and are hoping that I can pick up some vigilator work for the other 2 days....
They originally said that they wanted me to start in the middle of August, but have rang me back and said at the end of August due to their funding. By me starting at a later date this will give me more chance to secure my redundancy pay.....:T so I am hoping that I manage to receive my redundancy notice before the end of the month.....when I have to give in my notice... the money from this will clear 2 debts fully or if I try for a full and final settlement then I possibly can clear a chunk of another debt too....jus thope that it all works out okay.
But if not then at least I have got another job to go to, and if that means sacrificing my redundancy then that is something that I have to do...at least I will have a regular income plus it may turn into something permanent? Or if not open up other avenues for me at a later date.
Hope everyone is making the most of the sunshine today whilst it lasts....
