omg...can't believe it....boss has just rang and has changed everything that she said yesterday !!
Now she has told me that I need to fulfill my contract with the secondment until the end of September, she has now said that she will start my redundancy notice on the 1st of September and I will leave at the end of Sept.:mad::mad: That they have billed the secondment place for the full 3 months, although I wasn't told this yesterday.
I pointed out that I was told that I could leave at the end of August and boss now says she will have to speak to HR to try and accomodate me !! !!!!!! ?!?!?! As if they are doing me a massive favour...I am so cross, I am sick of being messed about with them, the only trouble is whenever we have these convo's there is always only the two of us, so its my word against hers.

Maybe you need to go above her and see what is going on. When she speaks to you request to have someone else there that can back up what they are saying. Flee I did go and see her yesterday, she even typed everything up and printed it off then hand wrote some more notes on it, she even printed off a job for me which she had been sent by email asking that it be circulated around the various organisations...
Think I need to ring my Union fella and have a word with him, this situation is totally stressing me out...talk about being messed about :mad:Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=1 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]£16700

the fact that you have this offer in black and white will work for you not against you, but best to talk to union boss as the way they are treating you is not acceptable x

You should speak to your union boss about it. I meant go above her rather than just speaking to her, she seems like an idiot who is just trying to play god with your job. She offers you one things and then offers you another. The company needs to decide what they will do with you rather than her changing her mind. I wonder where she is getting her information from?Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Well so far today I haven't heard anything from the boss, nearly had a heart attack this morning though _pale_
...got my offer letter by email from new job and she wrote that she had applied for my references from my employer.....:eek::eek: OMG !! I tried ringing her and it kept saying that they were experiencing technical difficulties with the phone lines, I was so stressed out, then after two frantic emails to new manager, she finally emailed me back and said that she had taken the request back out of the post.:T New boss was in a similar position to me a couple of years ago so fully understands what I am going through
One of the Managers of the secondment job dropped by for a chat this morning and was asking as to how I was etc, he thinks my company are totally unprofessional  and has even said that he will contact my new employers to see if they can fund me working back here !!As the new job is less than a mile from where I am, and is in the same line of work then who knows what the future brings?
Just noticed as well today that on the latest MSE news it says that tesco are offering £20 off £40 spend as Ocado withdrew their offer last month due to oversubscription, wasn't taking any chances this time and have got in straight away :j- said it was just on your first delivery but mine has gone through okay, so got £64.00 quids worth of stuff for £44.00 and its not my first delivery.:)
Nothing much on the MSE front, paid another payment off my car yesterday. Last night discussed with OH as to what to do with the redundancy payment and we decided to pay off the balance on my car. We weighted up the pro's and cons of doing this and think its the best way forward. The car is due its first MOT in September and it should pass as its only done 21000 miles. We based our decision on that its a decent car with low mileage, its relatively cheap to run and will last several more years
This will in turn free up £150 per month which I can pay off the debts :T then when I am out of work OH will cover the remaining household bills without having to worry about this. I am going to talk to him next week when we are away on holiday what his feelings are with regards to me going on a debt management plan, ideally if he can take over the costs of buying food then I can manage to pay my debts off quicker. Whilst I know that these are my debts OH says we are both in this together, :A which I know it does have a knock on effect everything that we may do in the future i.e. if we wanted to buy a house together.

I've just been catching up with your diary (I admit I've missed out the middle bits but will read later).
You really seem to have pulled yourself out of the proverbial crap. Congratulations, AND you seem to have had so much good news in the last couple of weeks - apart from your boss dicking you about. I'm really pleased for you.
I would agree with you that really you need to get your union bod onto the case and arrange to have a conversation with your boss with the union in the room. You need to have something written down and agreed upon since no one can plan for the future when things are constantly in flux and I'm sure that your boss wouldn't stand for it if she were in your position, so why should you.
I'm going to *subscribe* so I can keep up to date with your impressive record of reducing your debts.
Take care0 -
Och BF what a load of crock with your company, there always seems to be set backs but you'll get there. Glad your new employers are understanding about everything.
Didnt see the £20 Tesco thing, better go have a look0 -
Dear Diary,
I can't believe that it is so long since I wrote although quite a few things have happened since my last entry so its gonna be a long one.....
29th July - I had an appointment at my doctors as my IBS has been playing up really bad with the will they/won't they make me redundant saga...he wanted to sign me off 3 weeks ago and I refused and said that I needed to keep on going, but feeling really, really ill and very tearful I told the Doctor as to what had been going on again. This time he said that he was signing me off work with a sick note stating it was work related stress, in the hope that the 2 weeks off work would help settle in down. I text boss when I came out of the doctors to say that I had been signed off work and what with, boss responded by saying that she was sorry to hear that I was not well....(despite having spoken to her 2 days previously about it) blah blah blah...I was supposed to break up today for a weeks annual leave.
On the 31st July which incidentally was our 9 months anniversarywe had planned to go away for 4 days and go to Shrewsbury where my OH was stationed when he was in the Army. We were touring around on the bike although was taking my medication and trying to ensure that I did not eat anything that may have a diverse effect on me....:o we still managed to have a fantastic time....so much so that my OH said that when we got back he was going to ask my dad if he could marry me...:iloveyou:
On the Monday we were on the bike travelling to Ironbridge, when I took my jacket off I had a missed call from my boss. I thought that if it was that important that she would ring me back. Boss told my work colleague that I was ignoring her calls, my work colleague said that I wasn't at home and that we had still gone away as planned.
We arrived home on the Thursday coming up the motorway on a bike when its absolutely hammering it down is not a good idea, although my jacket and my legs were both dry and the only really wet things were my gloves and my boots.....OH was wet through....:( he really needs a new bike jacket and some decent waterproof trousers....
On the Friday it was back to earth with a bang with the enslaught of washing/drying/ironing etc. Although we did manage to go out for some lunch at Frankie and Benny's for their lunchtime deal.....:)
As Friday night was such a lovely night then we went out for a ride on our respective bikes, now usually OH follows me, but I followed him and we had a brilliant ride. I really need to get out and about more on my bike and get some more practice in otherwise the winter weather will be here and will be even less likely to use it then !!
My enhanced CRB check has come back okay, ready for the new job, which it now looks like I will have to postpone my start date until the end of September. Still no news from current employer as to what is happening with the redundancy etc. despite boss telling me that they would put proposals together for me and confirm them in writing....Union has said that I need to email her to ask when does redundancy start, when does it end and what my entitlement will be apparently if they do not respond to this then I can take out a grievance against them. (hate confrontation!!)
Saturday I cooked a Slimming world curry it was really nice and very ME friendly as it had no ghee/dairy in it....OH said it was a really good curry too (even for a healthy one) he has admitted that his trousers have shrunk a little..:rotfl: we had a few glasses of vino and then some vodka shots... then we started talking about us getting married and OH said that he wants to do everything properly as it would have been done all those years ago if we had stayed together. He really feels the need for my mum and dad to approve of him, and for my parents to be proud of him for what he has achieved. He says that he has waited so many years for this to happen but he is going to wait to ask me i.e. that I free to marry him and that he wants to save up for my engagement ring....so that when he asks me he can ask me with the ring in his hand....aww bless....:A
On Sunday was a family christening as my niece's baby was being christened. Have to say it was a very strained affair as my niece has taken a dislike to me, the only reason I can think of was because I didn't go to her wedding last year as I had just found out that !!!!!! was having an affair and was drug dealing so of course was really upset, and did not want to ruin their day but hey ho...
Monday I was back at the Doctors, things are not settling down with the IBS and he has signed me off work again for another 2 weeks....
Last night my DS came home, it feels really strange when he comes home now as he lives 110 miles away, and I don't get to see him as much as I used to. It is always good to see him though, OH and I said that it was good to tell that he was back as we could smell him downstairs with all the lynx bodyspray and aftershave....
On the :money:front I have claimed £10 boots voucher for doing one of my surveys, I have also claimed a £10 M&S voucher too, so the vouchers are stacking up quite nicely to use for xmas pressies. I have also claimed back £57 from topcashback and I have had to chase up nearly all of the pending on my greasypalm account :mad: but I am glad that I did as I am in the next payment run which is for the 1st September think that is around £121.00. All this is going into my debt pot, so when I get my redundancy £3500k I should have enough money to be able to clear the car off. Any other money which is left will go to one of the other debts.
Moorcroft has just taken over my Santander overdraft and as I explained the situation they have set it up on a payment plan as £5 per month for something like 286 months with a final payment of £3.55 without any hassles at all. :T
I feel sorry for anyone caught up in the riots. So if anyone is reading and it has affected you in any way shape or form then my thoughts and best wishes are with you.
off to catch up on the other diaries now so catch you soon
Bf xx
