Hi folks :hello:
long time no post....haven't been feeling at all well with all the stressing about the job situation....well I finally got to have my meeting and my redundancy was confirmed yesterday. My employer stated that she assumed that I would be clearing my loan and I said no as I did not want to risk not having enough money to pay off my outstanding HP.
My boss then went onto say that the payout was slightly more than she had previously stated and passed me a letter which said that I was entitled to £6059.00 which is almost double what I was initially told.
So this means that when I receive the payout then I will be able to clear off my car and my loan of £1000. This in effect will free up £220.00 per month to be able to clear off my debts.
It has been a long and stressful few weeks, but the end result is that I got paid out more than I expected and plus have a new job to go to, who very kindly put my start date back to the end of September for me (they were panicking that I would be offered another job -which I was but declined as it was a huge paycut). I have emailed new boss advising that I can start next week...:)
I am finally divorced too !!!! :j This came through on the 25th of August and my OH decided it was too good an opportunity to miss and so he threw a 'divorce party' for me. Over 40 peeps turned up and we had a brilliant time, it was just what the doctor ordered and cheered me up no end.
I have still been plodding away doing surveys etc and have now earned £10 amazon voucher, £10 boots voucher and £10 M& S vouchers, I have also been 'paid' nearly £400 in cashbacks too. The vouchers will go towards xmas pressies and the cashback will be transfered into my debt accounts.
Oh and to top it all off I collected a parcel this morning from the sorting office and I have won 2 limited editions of jean paul gaultier 'le male' aftershave and also 'classique' perfume both 100mls....as I don't like either then I will be selling these on ebay...just need to check out how much they are worth which will give me more coffeurs to the debt fund.
On the whole feeling a lot happier than I have been in the past few weeks. Plus a little dicky bird has said that I may be funded back to my secondment position in the not too distant future which would be just great as this new role is a temporary one.
Hope everyone is feeling hunky dory...:)

:)Hiya folks....
long time of not posting so much has happened...so will be try and cut everything shortwell that's the general idea but the peeps who have been following my diary only know too well that it won't be.
Had redundancy meeting at work and left on the 14th Sept and was told that I would receive £6154 redundancy pay due to 6 weeks in lieu of notice, holiday pay and redundancy pay when it eventually came through they had deducted £1600 from my redundancy pay and when I enquired I was told that as we were paid two weeks in front and two weeks behind then our Facilities manager had been told to deduct two weeks pay but instead he deducted 4 weeks pay . I have emailed him several times and still several months later I have not got a response as to explain as to why this money was deducted in the first place. I have written to my union rep to see if he can follow this up for me but so far I am not getting any response from him either.
The good news was that I was able to clear my car finance which was £3800.00 approx.:j
I Started my new job back in September covering maternity leave until March/April 2012. the post is going really well and even though its only part-time I am around £150.00 a month worse off but work 2 days less per week.....:T
My Mr Wonderful proposed on the 28th September, :kisses2:he said that he couldn't wait any longer for me to be his wife, so we set a date for the 24th December 2011. :TWe got married on Xmas eve at the registar office, we tried to keep the costs as low as possible and took 40 close family members out for a meal, we bought the cake from Tesco which costs £25 for two tiers and I bought some ribbon to match the colour of my dress and some diamante trim and bought a cake topper from Ebay which costs us £8.00 with the postage and packing. A friend took our wedding pics as a wedding gift.
We bought Mr's suit in the sales but my dress was £170, although it was a Jaques Vert dress which was reduced by the time that we got married (Typical!!) All in all it costs us £1200.
Christmas and New Year was pretty miserable after that as I had a cough since the beginning of December which turned into a nasty chest infection. It resulted in me sleeping most of Xmas Day and having to drag myself out of bed on the Boxing day to cook a meal for my parents. 2 lots of antibiotics later and I feel much better now.
We also have a new addition to our family in that my new husband contributed to my birthday present which was a Japanese Akita puppy he is just gorgeous (We had been saving up in 2 separate terramundi's which we said we would use for our honeymoon fund and used some of this plus the £150 he gave me for my birthday).:)
On the debt front obviously I am technically on a lower wage I haven't really felt it that much as I was used to paying my car finance which I no longer have to do.
The christmas pressies all came from vouchers that I had collected from doing surveys or through payments from the cashback sites. In fact I bought this year's presents too which were all half price in the christmas sales, plus I got all my wrapping paper and cards too...just need to remember where I put them for this crimbo.
Also the other exciting news is that we are to become grandparents as my daughter is expecting her first baby in September. She has her first scan next week. I am so excited, hubby is already a grandad as he has 2 grandsons already, but for me it will be my first grandchild.
Will need to calculate the moneys that I have paid off my debts and also whats outstanding still and update my signature.
I have started to sell avon too just to family and friends and last month I made £36.00 commission which will go into my debt funds.
One of the solicitors acting on behalf of MBNA have written to me to say that I should no longer send them payments as MBNA have closed the account with them. I am waiting confirmation of who the payments are to be made to at the moment. I am hopeful that they will write the debt off as it was one of the accounts that the doctor wrote to with regards to my mental state as they kept hassling me at the beginning. I haven't missed any payments although are still paying a token offer to each of them.
It seems at the moment that it is Marks and Spencers which are hassling me a bit, at the moment the anxiety is much improved and are starting to reduce my medication on the doctors advice, although since I decreased them last time I have started to feel very anxious and stressed again. So I may ask him to write to them for me.
Our 'wonderful' skanky neighbours have been overun with rats, we caught 12 in our garden alone as we had set a trap at the one point where the fence didnt touch the ground. Environmental health came out and rang me to advise that they had an infestation (no sh*t sherlock!!) due to all the rubbish that they had dumped in their garden. It ended up with the enforcement officer giving them so many days to shift all the rubbish, only by this time the rats are in the roof voids. _pale_
This is part of the problem as to why I am feeling anxious again, plus the fact that my contract will be ending again soon and my dad is still no better. In fact, we are waiting for him to go into hospital for some biopsys on his kidneys.
Hope if your still reading I haven't bored you to death. Happy debt busting everyone

Just updated my signature and I have managed to reduce my debt from £37864.78 to £22368.94 which means that I have now managed to clear £15495.84 :j
Wot a great feeling....am hoping that as I have a small loan outstanding for £647.13 that as I am working overtime and working an extra 15 hours per week x £13.24 minus my tax and national insurance I can manage to clear this before my contract ends at the end of April. :T
Which if in the worse case scenario that I cannot manage to get a job then at least hubby only has to cover the household bills and I can manage to make the payments to the other creditors with my JSA.
