thanks for the best wishes,:)
My dad still hasn't had any news on the angiogramso have told him to chase them up.....my parents are going away on Thurs -Mon then they are home a day, one of their friends died at the weekend so they are going to a funeral on Wednesday and then back off on holiday on the Thurs to Monday....think can honestly say it will be after the bank holidays by the look of things...just hope he doesn't get worse in the meantime
I am still taking my medication - metrazapine 45mg, the other tablets I was taking 5mg on a morning and 5mg at night they are called busciapan or something like that....but they hyped me up no end and have stopped taking them one of the side effects is that they can cause anxiety.... not really good when that is what they were prescribed for....:( so at the moment just sticking to the metrazapine. I feel rather chilled despite packing and taking them to the 'new' house and then unpacking boxes all last night. But the lounge is done, the books and ornaments and other bits and pieces from the bedroom have all been taken down to the house and put away.
Tonight we are taking down the dining room chairs have already dismantled the table, I am planning on making a chilli for tea with rice - means less pans etc and can then concentrate on packing the kitchen whilst OH stacks the dishwasher. We will then take these down to the house and put them straight away.
I am hoping also to take down the clothes that I don't need to the house and hang them straight up in the wardrobes. Who needs 66 pairs of knickers??? Think will have to do some serious de-cluttering :rotfl:
Hope everyone else is having a good day....:) hope this weather keeps up its glorious....
bf xx

Sounds like all is going to plan just your dads angio to sort out and the world will be comming together (of sorts!)
Good to hear that you have managed to sort out the meds! does seem strange that a side effect of a med ment to reduce anxiety is anxiety  sometimes I fail to understand the drug companies

Hiya folks
:mad::mad: rant first.....last night OH and I had just gone to bed. Had been a pretty hectic evening with packing/unpacking boxes etc so we decided to go to bed early only to be woken up with someone knocking on the door. I nudged the OH and said that there was someone at the door and thought that it was DS who had forgotten his key...
OH got out of bed to find a security guard stood ont he doorstep asking if the car outside was ours. So he said yes, apparently the guard had seen someone trying to get into the car, he was acting suspiciously.... OH got dressed and went out to the car and someone had stolen the mirrored glass out of the door mirror.
I rang the police as there was a great big handprint on the window glass and a handprint on the door frame it only took ten minutes for them to arrive....said that SOCA woudl come out within the hour. OH said that I should go back to bed :A he waited for as long as he could but then admitted defeat and went to bed at some godly hour.
Woke up this morning to find a letter stuffed through the door stating that SOCA would be out this morning to take the prints. The officer who came was lovelyand said that she had been able to get a good set of prints :T That they would run them through the police database and see if there was any matches.....if not the prints would stay on file for future reference.
Went to the garage £38.33 for the glass replacing  and hopefully the mirror just needs tightening back up otherwise will need a full new mirror as it is electricSo have to take the car back to the garage shortly for that to be replaced .....
As for my dad....have spoken to him this morning and whilst he was on the phone a letter arrived for his angiogram.....appt date 6th June :eek: so much for an urgent appointment...left him to ring them back and see if it can be moved forwards.
On another downer....3 work colleagues received redundany notices yesterday:( ....I am expecting when I get home that I will have received the same letter....:(
So will update later

Morning folks....
Only one more day to go......:j:j:j Last day at work today for 10 days too so will be updating from my Mum's pc as and when I can
Yesterday it took the garage over an hour to fit the glass back into the mirror....said that they had to take over the door panel and tightened the bolt that holds the mirror in situ but as it is sprained then they did the best that they could without it costing me the money for the whole unit
Bloody scroats hope his fingers drop off !! So all in all cost me £43.85.
Last night we took some more 'stuff' to the house and the majority of the small stuff has already gone and is put away back in the cupboards. Just have a few boxes to take tonight
OH has to fit the blinds in the bedroom and put the curtain pole up tonight but apart from that the majority of things are already there and just the furniture to move so hoping to have got it all done by early afternoon ready to hit the pub at teatime.....:) our local does wonderful food and real ales too....:T
 teenage son still hasn't packed his stuff yet......although has been off college all week....think swift kick up the backside should do the trick :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope everyone has a lovely bank holiday weekend. OH has planned to get his bike done on Sun/Monday ready to MOT on Tuesday....so plenty of R & Rwill be done.....
Have fun xxx
