Dad is home now, after telling me at 2pm on Friday that he was coming home and was just waiting for them to sort out his medication. At 4.15pm I arrive at their house expecting them to be at home. Quick phone call to Dad who says that his tablets have arrived and would I go and pick them both up...so I set off, about 15 mins later when I am nearly at the hospital he rings again to say that they haven't got the prescription right. Told him that I was nearly there so would wait in the car park just opposite the main entrance.
5.40pm  they both come out of the door:) ....was good to see my dad out of hospital.....he wasn't very happy but at least he is out of there and is at home :T . The docs have told him that he has to have an angiogram (sp) done and have marked his case as 'Urgent' but if he hasn't heard anything within 2 weeks then he has to get back to them and chase it up. He isn't allowed to go back to work until he gets the results back from this.....as he is self employed then they have no income coming in now.....so was going to go and see if they are entitled to any benefits in the interim period.
We had a productive weekend. The trailer tent sold and was collected by the buyer and got I paid in cash......which was just as quickly spent
on my new helmet and also my bike jacket
....OH said that he was going to pay for them and still insists that when he gets paid that he will give me the money for them :A
I didn't spend my birthday money or the christmas bonus that I got so can reasonably justify this spend as it is for my safety and also comfort
Apart from that I have Friday and Sunday as two NSD's. Saturday we went to Mr Ald*s and got the groceries, it came to £47 and in that I got washing powder and the fabric conditioner, plus leather wipes and bleach.
I have decided that I will not spend on food before we move which is 11 days to go....:j apart from the milk and bread scenario. I have filled my car up with petrol too so that should last till then.
As for the 'new' house our bedroom - the feature wall has now been done...:j the new bedroom door is fitted, (!!!!!! had punched a hole in it which I
hid when a viewer came to look around the house....:o)
The kitchen door was moved to the upstairs as it matched those doors (wood effect) - turns out that the new doors that I bought with my dad last week are smooth effect....so the kitchen and the lounge doors needed to match....as they were opposite each other.
Got the ceiling painted in the lounge already for the wallpaper to go up:j on the feature wall.....then as I thought it looked so nice and bright in the lounge/stairs/landing etc.... (cotton white) I thought that it would look brighten up porch so I did that too.
Yesterday we kept hearing motorbikes go past on the main road, could tell that OH was itching to get out on the bike, but we can do all that and more besides when we have got moved back in and stuff. It was a lovely day though and we sat outside in the sunshine whilst we drank our coffee's.:)
OH managed to get all three doors fitted :j whilst I painted. We are going back tonight just to fit the door furniture and whilst OH is doing that I will do the glossing that needs to be done.:)
Then that just leaves the bathroom to freshen up with paint. He has re-sealed the bath and the shower needs a new washer as it is dripping constantly.
Once these little jobs are done we are going to start packing boxes at the flat with a view to taking as much as we can in the car to the house prior to moving back in.
The new additional medication is making me feel very spaced out and this morning felt totally out of it...:( will see if this settles down but if not will have to go back and have them changed.Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=1 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]£16700

Wow so much going on but :j on your dad being home, :j:D:D on new bike gear! lets hope the weather holds up and
for new house
Just need to cross everything for the funding, will be thinking of you xx£112121.02 10 Years and counting!Target in 2011 £22K /£10646.97 DFD Feb 201742Lbs /23 Down 19 to go!:shocked:So now I just need to keep going!Nearly half way through the year and I'm still here0 -
:eek:The creditors letters are landing thick and fast think that it must be the annual review....my financial statement is still showing a deficit and with the changes afoot with moving back into the house will have to amend this again in the next few weeks
Will have to update my signature with the new balances...which I am sure they have gone up on some of them despite them stating that they will freeze the interest and charges
...(solicitor still has a lot of the financial stuff needed for the divorce).
My dad went to find out applying for some benefits and was told on the surface of things that he wouldn't be entitled to anything  .....which led to my mum asking for the £500 that I borrowed to start the initial divorce proceedings...but said that I could pay it back in two halves but as its in my debt account then I can manage it.
Once we move into the 'new' house then I can sell the cooker which I bought for my flat....its on sale at currys for £400 so I should get at least £250 for it as its only 4 months oldand I am seriously considering selling my big 8 berth tent and all the accessories too so that should replenish that
....although with the way things are looking at the moment then I will be having to find the money to file for divorce now as well
On the house front...all doors are now fitted and they all work thanks to OH :kisses3: :T, glossing in the bedroom is mainly done just have the door frame to do and the door itself. Then I am going to clean the carpet and it we can start moving stuff back in, as there is fitted wardrobes there......and bookshelves....:):)
My employer is pressing me to say one way or another whether I want this other job ....I know that as it was sent on an email then it could be used in the future if I am made redundantas they would say that they offered me alternative employment and as I refused it then I would not be entitled to redundancy pay. It was on an email and there was another question on it which needed answering so I couldn't just ignore it.
For me to take the job would mean I have to leave my secondmentand as they are in the process of discussing as to whether they can find the funds to pay my employer to keep me here
.....so I emailed back saying that it wasn't suitable as it was a pay cut,
that it would mean me travelling further so would mean increased petrol expenses etc
(I had heard also that it was to cover evenings and weekends too - although this wasn't mentioned on the job description). I also put about the fact that I had funding until end of June, that if I did leave what would happen to the project? Also if they did find funding then what would happen then as I had already left my secondment and would be loads of hassles going back to it.....:( Needless to say as yet I haven't had any kind of response.:( Plus on top of all that I would be answering to a Manager that I have had issues of bullying with in the past
Today my son has his driving test so I have everything crossed for him to pass it :j:j
Apologies for long rambling posts over the past few days.....seem to have a lot to moan about these days.......Hope everyone has a lovely day

Ds didn't pass his test and was really gutted
he has put in for it again although the next test date is May.
OH's brother was in a bit of a state yesterday as J is taking pain relief every 4 hours but they doctors have said that J can have it every 3 hours, but J is trying to keep to the four hours and not rely on the morphine plus doesn't want to have withdrawals from that too.....anyways the previous night he had been requesting pain relief and no-one gave him any, plus the staff had left up an empty drip bag which should have contained anti-biotics... - (the specialist has found that the reason the leg hadn't healed properly is that there is a small underlying infection and they are hoping that by getting to the bottom of this the new bone will grow).... he was on the point of discharging himself but the doctors/nurses have assured him that if he did do this then he is at risk at not just them amputating to just above the knee, but in fact, would need to amputate to the hip bone  Needless to say J has decided that he will stay put :T
The house is taking shape now and I just want to home now.The doors have all been glossed, my cat put her appearance in and was good company as I was on my own as OH had gone to see his bruv. But with the radio on I was singing away and didn't notice the time slipping by.
OH then came to the house just as I was calling it a day as my back was aching and by this time it was 8.30pm...so went and grabbed some fish and chips for tea/supper. Was in bed for 10pm totally knackered....
Its sounding like its going to be a good weekend too.Although I doubt we will be out on the bike as it still needs to pass its MOT...am hoping that we manage to get what we want to do at the house so that we can just relax at the weekend....before the hectic move the following weekend.
Have spoken to my work colleague who has recently moved nearer to me, we have agreed that after the bank holidays we are both keen to start running again...although it will be a couple of miles to start with I would think...but at least its all level....:)
My dad is still awaiting his angiogram although mum is telling him to slow down. They are awaiting a decision to see if they are entitled to any benefits in the meantime....
Hope everyone is having a good day.....:)Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=1 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]£16700

Ooh running, well done you
. It is def a new start when you move into the house.
Sorry to hear about OH brother, glad he has decided against discharging himself though, lets hope they look after him properly.
Hope work is good for the rest of the week0 -
Morning Peeps
Last night I got home to find a letter from my solicitor advising !!!!!! was originally contributing to his divorce costs and as now he has lost his job then he can no longer afford to pay for the court costs. My solicitor has said that he maybe applying for benefits and if he is, then depending on the benefit he would be in receipt of then he may be eligible for free court fees.
However, if I want to proceed and issues proceedings against !!!!!! then my solicitor has estimated that the costs would be a further £520 plus VAT and then £385 for court fees, plus if I have to have the papers served on him then that would be a further £150 + VAT  :mad:
Solicitor has stated that if I wish to proceed then she would need more money on account  as I am well and truly skintand my debt fund has now turned into my divorce fund which holds the grand total of £14
I have paid my dad the £500 that I owed him so the account has taken a bashing and the only other money that I have is £250which I was saving towards my car insurance/tax which is due in June. (I did shop around for some quotes and it came back with £232 fully comp) Although I can pay this on a monthly basis and spread the cost so should free up about £100 towards the divorce fund - sorry just me thinking out aloud
At the moment I just want to get rid of !!!!!! :j but finances are as such that I can'tI am thinking that if I wait and !!!!!! receives benefits and gets legal aid then it won't cost me anything. :T (Thats if he has really lost his job - he is a compulsive liar  and could just be saying this for me to pay for the divorce as he knows that I am with someone else). Plus if I lose my job at the end of June then a plus side is that I will be able to claim legal aid/free court fees
and can then file for the divorce then.
Hoping to hear some news on the funding front today too.....feel totally stressed with it all especially as employers are trying to push me into taking this other job which is a pay cut and further travelling costs, working evening and weekends too....:(:(
My dad is okay and taking it steady and trying to rest as much as he can. Only trouble is he is so active and is not used to not doing anything but as he is very breathless and his lips keep going blue then my mum is a nervous wreck....she says he is bad tempered  so he is getting back to his normal self :rotfl:Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][FONT=Arial Narrow][SIZE=1 [/STRIKE][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -[/SIZE][/FONT][/COLOR]£16700

Getting divorced is a complete pain. I have the same problems with my solicitor, won't do anything unless I give him money up front. I am saving money but spending more money on getting divorced. The quote for my divorce is between £2.5-3.5k.
Be careful with the new changes as well that came in on the 6th April. Basically you have to go through mediation with your ex up to 4 months before you divorce.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]

Omg...!!
I can't go through mediation of 4 months with himBarstewards solicitor suggested it first off months ago but then my solicitor pointed out that there was issues with domestic violence and that was the reason that I had kicked him out.....he has agreed to a clean break already after many months of wrangling and I have that confirmed in writing so there is nothing for us to sort out to think that I have to sit in the same room as him would make me feel physically sick
plus my nerves wouldn't be able to stand it.
