  • Great innit?? the estate agents rang totally out of the blue and have said that there is someone wanting to view my house tonight or over the weekend.......I kinda stalled them and said that I couldn't do a viewing tonight or over the weekend as we were going away for the weekend...so have said that they can come on Monday after 4.30pm...:o

The agent said that she was a first time buyer has her mortgage in place/deposit and is very keen...:o

Why didn't I just say I have decided not to sell the house afterall??

    I am such a cowardy custard :(

    Hiya Peeps

We had planned for this weekend to help my friend move but it turned out that she had loads of helping hands so we went to the 'new house' on Saturday and as it was sunny we painted the new fence panel...then we got talking about moving back in etc and what OH wanted to do with regards a lean to for the bike to go under etc...he re-sealed the bath and I tidied out the shed putting all the tools back and put all the camping gear back into the wooden garden shed.

The Estate agent rang me on Saturday to say that the lady wanting to view had found another property....so much for been so keen on mine!!! ...which think meant in estate agent blurb...is bullsh**te

We decided then to go to B&Q to have a look at wallpaper and paint etc..got a load of paper samples and then took them back to the house, managed to dwindle the wallpapers down to which one for the room and which for the bedroom etc..and what colours were going to go where etc...was kinda nice...OH said that we (I) need to think of it as being a 'new house' and for each bad memory to replace it with 2 new good memories..:) so that is what we intend to do.

The estate agent emailed me again and said that there was someone else wanting to view sometime this week...!! Needless to say I bit the bullet and emailed her back saying that we had decided to move back in and for them to take it off the market with immediate effect and for them to come and collect the board asap.

On Saturday night we went out for a curry with a group of peeps...a NSD for me as OH paid....I was on the antibiotics so I didn't drink so not too expensive...plus OH said that we didn't want to go back to theirs as they do partake in having a 'smoke'....and that is something that I don't do...so as not to put me in that position he said that we were going home...:) plus it would have an adverse effect on my job... ....so another NSD for me :T

On Sunday we had a mahooosive lie in as we hadn't altered the alarm clock to reflect the new time as I thought that OH had already done so....but guess we both must have needed it...As it was such a nice day yesterday we decided to go to Whitby for the day. It was glorious sunshine and we had a really good day out...I spent £10.60 on fish and chips for lunch and then we had to have some 'proper' fudge so that was another £3.80 but as I had petrol in my car then I haven't counted that...just will have to be extra careful with the petrol this week for it to last until the weekend....

    and......

Yesterday was my 2nd Wedding anniversary....it was a day full of mixed emotions tbh...There was a kinda feeling of OMG I have been married to that !!!!!! for 2 years....and then the realisation that it was only 5 weeks after our wedding day that the abuse started...I am just glad that the divorce is in progress although I haven't received any court papers as yet...

OH has got this week off so is trying to get his 'new' bike on the road and hopefully this weekend we will be going out on my maiden voyage !!! I am really excited about it as it is a long time since I have been on a bike, but can't wait...:j

You're doing really well bf-pleased you're getting to grips with things. :)
I've been pillion on a bike quite a few times and it's a fantastic feeling.
I have been on a horse once-called Magic (he was a 16-2 ) Lovely animal, I would love to learn to ride a horse.

  • I haven't rode a horse for a number of years although it is a great feeling. He was called Dominic and was 17.2 hands...he was mahooosive....but such a gentle giant...I had to stand on a barrel and then really stretch to get my foot in the stirrups but loved it...

As for the motorbike...well I was 16 when I went on as a pillion, I have had a twist and go scooter before and used to bomb around on that...lol used to break down more times than enough...ha ha...

When OH and I were originally together we were only 14 when we first met so even when we separated we still weren't old enough to have a licence....

Just need to try and drop enough subtle hints for the black and pink helmet....:rotfl::rotfl:
