  • Hey Gem...

I am in Leeds too....so thats why its sunny :)

We had a great weekend...my OH managed to get his bike sorted out as the clutch needed something doing to it...and then yesterday we went to York for the day..so only spent £4.60 on the park and ride.

Went to Pizza Express for lunch as we had some tesco vouchers so three course meal each came to £4.60...what a result....:)

So all in all it cost me around a £10 plus the petrol but was great to spend some quality time together....

Hope you had a good weekend am just catching up on the forum so will nip over and say hello

    bf xx

Another nice post, well done on using the tesco vouchers well, I only ever get about £1 at a time!

Mine are dwindling fast as I no longer go to Mr T's anymore and the petrol they have now cut down to 1 point per £1 spent and as petrol is going through the roof trying to cut down on the travelling tbh so the points are not building up so fast anymore.

As for the viewing - got to my house to find that one of the 6ft panels had blown down. The neighbour (MIL) said that she thought that I wouldn't be bothered as I don't live there anymore :mad::mad: of course I do, its still my house!!! Not a good look when trying to sell house so one quick phone call to my dad and he will replace the fence panel this week with a new one and I will then go down and repaint the whole of the fencing this weekend if it stays fine.

Apparently the drawers are being picked up sometime this weekend....according to my OH...:T

Been carrying out research for my funding bid, not a good idea as work finished well before now !! So:coffee: then bedtime for me I thinks...

Well so far, have spent £100 quid and I haven't gone anywhere....

£50 pound went back into my ISA that I kinda borrowed out of, cos my ex hubby hasn't paid some of the maintenance this money...but that is down to my fault too as he give me it in cash...and was giving to teenage son who thought that it was 'his' several :mad: later and that matter was soon sorted out...:)

£50 went into my and OH's joint savings account so that is £150 just now and will be £200 when he gets paid on the 23rd. This is to save up for a once in a lifetime holiday to go and see the Northern lights....I know I could use this to pay off towards one of my debts, but as I don't expect OH to pay for me and I don't feel that he should be deprived of going on holiday just 'cos I have the debt. But having said that I can't expect him to pay towards my debt although he has said that we are in this together...:)

Will be another payment made off my wages for the loan currently £1466.12
Updated balance £1412.16 then paid my expenses which now means balance is £1378.26 so that is coming down nicely...

As for my other creditors I don't get any up-to-date statements as I am on a payment plan of £5.00 per month with them all, I do know that I can ring them and ask for a balance at anytime. Although having said that M&S sent me a letter stating that they needed to speak to me. I have requested previously due to the anxiety etc that any correspondence should be in writing. Why can't they put it in writing, if they can write out to tell you that they want you to ring them?? ....:wall:

  • I thought that yesterday was going to be a NSD (I don't count my dd's or savings as a spend just the things that I either use my card for or cash) but realised that I didn't have any milk for breakfast today so £2.00 for six pints so LSD...which I can live with.

Today is definately going to be a NSD and I am owed £15.00 so once I get that I will pay it into my debt account along with the £45.00 from the drawers.:T

    Hi BF

W O W - just read through your diary. Talk about a roller coaster ride and the saying what doesnt break you makes you stronger rings true!

I hope that you are finally seeing light at the end of the tunnel - would be much better if the house sold but at least you have the work colleague as a tenant to fall back on.

Reading through your diary brought back a lot of memories of my marriage and I am so glad you now have a decent bloke in your life.

    Big hugs xx
