Hi peeps
Yeah it is amazing what a good man can do :A
On the money front I haven't managed to get the £15 yet, and the person who owes me it says that she will give me that 'fiver that she owes me'....but its £15 feelhaving to ask her for it or bring it to her attention as she has a few health problems at the moment..and is very tearful
On the plus side I won £2.50 on the plus 5 lottery...:j haven't won anything in an absolute age so was a nice surprise.:) especially as I don't do it that often.
OH and I have spoken several times over should we move back into the house or should we stay put??? If the house was sold then I would accept that and that would be the end to that :T
BUT it hasn't and in realistic terms think I will have to drop it even more and virtually have to give it away before I can get a buyer ....just me facing up to reality....then the equity would not cover all the debt as I had hoped but would pay off a big chunk of it which would mean that I am not in debt for as long.:j
So the questions that I need to answer is do I (we) move back in and have a bigger house and hope in the future that the housing market picks up and then look at selling and release the equity then to pay off the debts etc?
Its like the devil and the deep blue sea scenario...:( which ever way we go I know we are going to be okay...although its really difficult to decide one way or another....know one thing those estate agents are useless !!!!!
I guess I really need to do a list of pro's and con'sTotal debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700

I wish...I have to paint the new fence panel and that will show up the rest so will be painting that and hopefully it will stay sunny long enough for it to drybut will look better for a potential buyer...she says...lol
The drawers are going on Saturday too, :jbut as for the sofa....depends on whether we move back in, if we do, will need it and as it is soooooooooo comfy then I wouldn't want to get rid of it....its only the fact that it doesn't fit in new place that I am selling it...
Plus need to get harris into gear and get all the camping gear listed on ebay too....or maybe pre-loved..
We have also been invited out for Sunday lunch :j at my OH's daughter's which is really sweet of her, plus bonus saves me cooking:rotfl:Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700

Hey BF - glad you are feeling so happy, it's amazing what the sunshine can do to us isn't it!
When you are rich you must go to the Argentinian Steakhouse in Leeds - River Plate! It's amazing!
Just over 3yrs ago now I was bankruptand I do mean actually bankrupt.. so it's taken a long while to get back on my feet again. You are doing a brilliant job of managing your money, despite the teenagers attempts to use your money lol..
MIL - well you know my view of those! hahaha9/70lbs to lose0 -

He has learnt the error of his ways, and is a much nicer person for it, one big sharp shock and it soon jolted him back to reality :T

Hiya
Now I know this makes me sound quite childish but I suggest you flip a coin regardging moving back in or holding out for a buyer. A friend once suggested this to me when I was making a big decsion once. She said that when you flip the coin you will either be happy or slighty disappointed with the result and you'll discover what you really want to do. It made sense, your situation is probably a bit too complicated for such thing though xxx0 -
It on the outskirts of the town centre, I don't know the districts very well in Leeds so I'll just give you a link to their website.
We get the platter for 2 (£39.99) + 1 x homemade fries (£2.50), it's loads of food.. mostly meat and you get a salad and some lovely dips mmmmm...Oh and the most amazing steak, ribs, pork chop, sausage and black pudding, all done to your choice of rare, medium, well done.
I'm not a big meat eater, but this stuff is delicious! & we always ask for the private table in the corner, it's so romanticand quieter..

I like the idea of flipping a coin
If you lived in the house with your ex, I can see it being awkward maybe?9/70lbs to lose0 -

Little boots
this is sooooooo what we did last night even though I didn't read your post until today  Spooky or what??? Lol
The coin landed in favour of moving back in twice....we have talked it over several times and OH has said that he doesn't care where we live as long as we are togetherbut as the house has more plusses than the flat we are biting the bullet and moving back in....just need to decide as to when that will be :T.....
I know I was rehoused because of the domestic violence and the fact that then I lived next to MIL and at the time it was having a detrimental effect on my health etc:huh: :silenced:
Before when I lived there I was a victim, but I am stronger and I am in a much better place than I was 4 months ago...:T plus I have someone who loves me to bits...:)
So on that note I have emailed the LHA enquirying about the notice that I need to give as I am an introductory tenant and feel that the flat will go to someone who really needs somewhere to live - maybe someone just like I was, someone who needs to get out of a domestic violence relationship and feel safe and secure.
So this weekend we are going to choose some new wallpaper etc and hopefully make a start on re-decorating the house. We will make it home for us three, plus we have somewhere to park the car and also the bike...and my OH says that we can make happy memories which will wipe out the bad one's.

Yeah we did exactly this...:j:j
Men don't feel the same way about houses as women do - well at least mine doesn't !! :T
My OH knows that the house was mine for 6 years before !!!!!! moved into it....and he knows of what went off there and fully understood my reasons for moving out when I did.
OH told me during one of our recent conversations that he didn't think at the time it was the best thing for me to do, but as we had only been together for a very short time it wasn't a kinda conversation that we could have had and he felt that he should support me with what ever decision I made as ultimately it effected my son and I. We didn't live together at that point, so the choice was mine alone.
OH says just look at it that you have been on a holiday for 4 months and the money that was spent in the flat decorating etc would have been what a two week holiday would have cost me. :A
thanks for the riverplate website will have a peek at that...although I work in Leeds, I live on the outskirts and drive into work everyday OH uses his bike, we both work at different parts of the city and at different times too otherwise we could 'bike share' :rotfl:Total debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700
