Yippee, picked mine up from the post office yesterday, and am having SO much fun playing with it, I feel like I've joined the 21st century now, lol.

DD (age 5) of course knows exactly what to do with it and has asked me to put the bubble game on it for her! I'm just excited that I can lie in bed and play on the internet

Thank you Martin and MSE for getting this offer for us, I really appreciate it as I'd been lusting after an ip0d for years but could never justify buying one, had rubbish TV reception on a v old $ky box without subscription and £25 vouchers will come in very handy indeed too!!

Oh and I remember somebody asking on another forum so I'll post it here too - It does appear to be the 3rd Gen one, which although is exactly the same hardware-wise to the 2G touch, it's comes with the latest software (3.1.3). Hope this is some help to anyone wondering!

they are 2nd gen ones being sent out from sky, just checked on the apple website, if the numbers on the back are A1288 its 2nd gen, so all those people ebaying them as 3rd gen, you might be getting them sent back.!

only the 32gb and 64gb iPod Touch are 3rd gen (with the hardware upgrade same as an iPhone 3GS). The model is A1318

the 8gb model is just a 2G model with updated software. Model A1288.

i bought 2 of these from Argos over Easter and they were sold as 3rd Gen so i may be looking at returning them.

i'm waiting for my iPod Touch and £25 M&S vouchers from Sky though they have confirmed they will be sent "I can confirm that you have been registered for this offer, and you will receive your iPod Touch and £25.00 Marks & Spencers vouchers within the timescale given".

I too signed up tor the free ipod and vouchers offer through the link after completing the process i wasnt sent any confirmation so the day after rang customer services to confirm the deal sky+ ipod touch and vouchers ,the lady said "it doesnt look like its gone through so ill do it again" went the the process giving all deatails etc and several times i got her to confirm i will be receiving an ipod t ouch and £25 m&s vouchers to which she replied yes. She also said if you can teel me someone who recommende you they will recive £50 m&s vouchers and so will you . i gave my brothers details who had just had sky installed i finnish the conversation asking her to confirm once more about the ipod as it was this that swung it for us to get sky .
I recieved a letter with £25 m&s vouchers in around the 15 april and thought the ipod would follow
yesterday i called customer services to enquire were my ipod was ,he responded by saying there was nothing on the notes i repeated all that was discussed to the lady when we registed ,he replied we will have to check the recording and will get back to you in 24 hours

24 hours later today i get a phone call stating that the cannot locate the recording and that i wont be recieving an ipod please help!!!!

p.s. sorry its long winded but i wanted to give as much info as possible

got the ipod and £25 M&S voucher, came by special delivery last Sat (10 days ago). so the offer DID work!

they came on day 31 a few days after i said i wanted to cancel within the 30 days since they hadn't stuck to their offer.

well folks i signed up for that same offer for an ipod and vouchers in march and i still havnt recieved anything i rang them AGAIN and they said the offer was for whoever refered me, i told them it wasnt and where i got saw the offer i am sick of ringing them so i sent a letter of complaint to them so i hope that works
the reason i didnt get ringing them earlier was cuz i was away for 3 wks workin
but surly they should honour this deal as its the only reason i signed up to sky for
