Just an update, sky have agreed what was promised so Im happy shame didnt do it from the start. Got another email from Sky customer services stating that i`ll be receiving an Ipod and M&S voucher.
And got reply from [FONT="]MoneySavingExpert.com itself:
[/FONT] [FONT="]"[FONT="]Due to a 'checkout error', when we first mentioned this deal last week Sky mistakenly charged some customers £49 for their HD boxes if they didn't take its HD pack . It promises to refund those affected in due course; if you think you were affected and haven't had a refund, call Sky on 08442 411 818."[/FONT][/FONT]

I ordered this service and registered on the correct screen displaying the free IPOD etc in a banner at the top of the Sky registration page.
I contacted Sky and asked about my IPOD. And this is what I received in return.

In regards to your email I have checked this again for you and this offer is for an existing customer introducing a new friend to sky for the first time. the online offer for a new customer signing up to sky is £25 M&S vouchers

I also received the same exact response, even though when I placed the order, the Sky web page was clearly showing the iPod and M & S £25 voucher option. I saved the web page which shows the offer and sent it to them. And this is what they have responded with :
"Thank you for your email about the online offer could you send all information of whom you introduced to sky to be eligable for this offer?

I was a new sky customer when I took out sky two weeks ago
I emailed sky to confirm I had the iPod, they sent back an auto
generated response so I returned itsaying that wasn't what I asked
I had a more personnalised response confirming I will recieved it in 30
days. Also on the offer from martin lewis referaal was a months free trial
to sky world , which I have since been offered and have taken up. I haven't
recieved the iPod or m&s voucher yet , but I will ring tomorrow to confirm!
Perhaps we need to get martin lewis in on this to see what's going on

They are saying that the voucher will be sent out after they receive payment of the first bill.
now the man is saying that he doesn't see any offers linked to my account - im going to scream.. I have now been on hold for 3 minutes.
ok, I said that if i am not getting the ipod then i want to cancel my sky subscription and so they have just given me complete sky world for half price for 6 months, including HD.
but they still cant find the ipod offer, I have to wait until I have paid my first bill to find out if I am eligible. I don't think that is good enough so I will be ringing up in a couple of days to complain some more.0
