Oh and I remember somebody asking on another forum so I'll post it here too - It does appear to be the 3rd Gen one, which although is exactly the same hardware-wise to the 2G touch, it's comes with the latest software (3.1.3). Hope this is some help to anyone wondering!

Thats odd, mine came all together in the same envelope. When we called them, they said our account was linked to the ipod offer, and it was showing on their screens.

the !!!! doesnt seem to know what the elbow is doing, had a new email from sky now saying its 45 days fron installation, original email said 30!
ps how are they being delivered? sign for postal of just through letterbox? just wondering as to wether i have to wait in for postie today to see?

Ours arrived this morning - Special Delivery also!!

Thinking back, the SkyTV was installed on 23 Mar, ordered about a week or so before that (well, a few days after Martin's email/newsletter highlighting the offer) and delivered this morning (24 Apr) - well before the 'qualifying period' me thinks! And we definately didn't 'refer a friend'.

So, thanks to Martin (and his team) for highlighting this offer and we wish those who are still waiting, the best of luck.

myn came also today, seems that sky made an error and gave us £50 eaxtra, mind you we did go via complaints.

Hi Kompar,
nope, no referrals just the standard sign up for me....we already had sky and were out of contract, so I called up and cancelled (as 'I was leaving him' ), then signed up in my husbands name online to take advantage of the deal.

just need to work out how to use the thing now!

Hope you all get yours soon...and yes, mine was in a white padded special delivery envelope too!
