I was going to watch that Sophie Dhal cooking show but read a review and changed my mind :rotfl:

Taplady/Bargainbird - I took 2 paracetamol before I went for my mirena fitting and I didn't really need them. I do think I have quite a high pain threshold though (not bragging - honest )

MMM - sorry to hear about your BIL. Hope he's on the mend soon x

Hi Mum of Lewis :wave:and welcome to the daily (hark at me doing a welcome when I don't post that often :rotfl:)

Good place this is, I always feel like its a coffee shop where you meet your friends and have a chat and get advice on loads of stuff. (and they don't mind if you can't meet up for a few days)

I would like to say I got a second wind and did loads of stuff, but in reality I have been on facebook and MSE all evening, did skype with OH for a while but it kept making a nasty noise so resorted to ringing him instead, but he is my magic number so it doesn't come out of monthly allowance.

Lovely to hear you are loving your job Haribo and :j:j for the promotion and pay rise

Julie - sorry to hear you have to wait for your other test and fingers crossed for your OH for Friday

Guess I had better get sorted and go to bed, funnily enough I feel wide awake now but won't feel great at 6 tomorrow morning if I don't go to bed soon

Have a viewer tomorrow- fourth one on two weeks so getting frantic sorting stuff out.

Hospital appointment tomorrow morning so that takes priority and DD(21) will tidy while we are out. Starting to call her "Cinderelly!":)

DD(16) now regarding me with real respect as she got Tippex all over her school skirt and thought it was ruined!! Material looked and felt like cardboard!

After five applications of stain remover - five rinses by hand- and a wash in the machine with anti oxidant etc - it looks back to normal!!!!!!:j
