MMM sorry to hear about your BIL, been there with both my parents in the last year. Don't beat yourself up about OS - it's more important that you look after yourselves so that you can help later.

I've just made Diva's peanut butter cookies, they look divine, but I think I will have to drizzle them with chocolate - that's another law isn't it? I'll have to send some to DS as DH doesn't like peanut butter, which is why I had a half jar of peanut butter in the cupboard crying out to be finished.

    Afternoon all

Despite the rainy weather my work kids managed to get loads done today! :j The rain eased off from 11ish and no-one grumbled too much. 2 more days left on this project, think we will finish it tomorrow and spend Friday cleaning up and then they can have a half day. We were featured in the local paper this week for our fundraising car wash too.

Got home at half3 :D absolutely covered in mud  so clothes came off as I shut the front door! :rotfl:. I had quick shower, then washed up the dishes. I just had a 'snack' of a small jacket potato with cheese as I was starved! Think I'll just have something small later for tea.

    Have a good evening all

ps my RHS seeds came today too

Probably sounds a lot grander than it is! Fry onions in a little oil, add chopped up corned beef. I usually throw in a little dried thyme and some worcestershire sauce and then either crumble in a couple of oxo cubes or I like the bisto best gravy granules and add hot water to the pan and then let it simmer away for about 20 minutes. season with a little salt if needed and some pepper.

This HAS to be served with mashed potato - its the law :D

I think everyone has slight variations on what they call corned beef dishes - we call corned beef hash boiled potatoes and onions mashed up with corned beef mixed through....again law states this must be served with tomato sauce...brown sauce is acceptable....just.

But then I've done sauted potatoes, onions, corned beef and baked beans with fried egg on top and called that corned beef hash too!

Some say I make it up as I go along .......

mmmmmm it all sounds delish thanks x

    Evening everyone

Well thats wages over for two week, I feel like my life is on hold on the Mon, Tues and Weds of wages week :eek:I get so stressed and tired. Is it not easy for someone to send a timesheet in each week? is it not easy to add up the hours on the site and check they agree with the budget? aparently not, it requires brain surgery, well thats what it feels like, like my brain is pulled through my ears each fortnight :rotfl::rotfl:

Have been really good this week and eating out of the freezer, getting it ready in the morning as too tired to do much in the evening, OH has been on nights out all week so far.

Did big cleaning and de-cluttering at the weekend so its just been a quick whip round, been lovely.

Lowesy, never lived in Edenbridge but passed though many a time, lovely part of the country. It's only about 30 mins away from where I lived as a child and a lovely journey over Ashdown Forest to get there. And not far from Pooh bridge, nothing beats a good game of Pooh sticks :D

    Snoozer - great news

Can I just give a dodgy hug :grouphug: for anyone who needs one, my head is too cabbaged after wages to remember who needs them :D

Another labyrinthitis sufferer here, last time I had it the Dr just looked at me when I walked in and laughed, he said, I know why you're here labyrithitis - do you think you are standing up straight, aparently I was leaning right over one side :rotfl:

Am off to browse and facebook for a bit, then early night.

    cyas xx
