Morning all
Love and hugs to those who are sad or poorly.
Wet and overcast here, with more rain forecast...boooo.
OH already left for work at stupid early o'clock and he had a meeting last night so didn't get in until 10pm, so by tonight he's going to be shattered! Boys and myself all had a quick and easy meal last night, DS1 had fish pie, jacket pot and veg, DS2 had jacket potato, sausages and veg and I had HM lasagne (leftover portion from freezer), jacket potato and salad. Tonight we have chicken breasts, topped with stuffing and wrapped in bacon, new pots and veg.
Work was much quieter yesterday and I've been doing an on-line course which seems to have taken ages but managed to get it finished yesterday. Just have half day at work today then I'm on days off until Monday, not looking forward to Easter particularly as due to staffing changes/holiday we have days where we just have no staff and it's our busiest time of the year.
Will be cracking on with the decorating on my days off as we want to get it finished well before carpet is due to be laid so it's done. If we really get stuck in to it this weekend, we should be able to get it finished!!
Not much other OS to report, have a great day everyone.
Keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

Good morning people of the OS!
Not quite so early this morning. Thank you for the reassurances about my doggy chat, I promise I won't take it as licence to talk about her incessantly.
Left my washing on the line last night, and it's been raining:mad: Silly Girl!
Made a gorgeous chocolate cake last night for pud, may have a slice for brekkie:o. Also made some spicy rice yesterday in the SC for dinner, somehow left it on high allday and it was a tad overcooked. The kids wouldn't it eat.:(
Not much planned for today, will be off to work as usual, afterwards I have three screaming seven year olds and DS1 to contend with, so plan on chilling and surfing, Essex style;).
Have a lovely day I hope everyone who is keeping a low profile is simply doing that and not down or ill, if so, have a hug! Hi to the noobs, and hugs to the poorlies and worried.
Redruby, good for you, keep on at 'em! Diva, glad Tris is kepping OK
Got to go or else I'll get nothing done.

Morning all
Just a quickie from me. It's raining and the rain is set to stay all day
and I still have to take my work teens out to work on their community project in the rain! We'll probably only do an hour or so.

Good morning everyone

It's damp and grey here
I still have 2 duvet covers from yesterday to dry so I will have to put them on the airer (hate doing it).
I am having to reschedule my week as I was asked last night at work if I could help out Friday for 3 hours serving the customers (also 2 days next week) so it will mean I will have to go clean for my nice couple Thursday instead of Friday. The extra money will be handy but I think I will soon need a cleaner for my home :rotfl:
Im helping with school swimming this morning then back to cleaning at work tonight.
I love all the cat and dog post on here as I always had cat's untill I found out someone was going to dump a little jack russell/labrador at 13wks old so I rescued him
he is now 6yrs old
He is the size of a large cat and sleeps a lot so not a lot of difference :rotfl:
I have been up since 5 so the bathroom and kitchen are sorted and the pack-up's done, I have removed some mince from the freezer for spag bol tonight.
Diva, I so glad Tristan and Michelle are doing well and hope they keep strong.
I had a joint of beef from Sainsburys at the wkend and it was lovely, made loads of meals from it
Essex-girl I think my iroining will have to wait till the wkend, just hope we dont need anything out of the basket :rotfl:
kezlou, my exhaust has not been right since I had a new on, my OH say's it needs tightening but it sound (to me anyway) that Im a girl racer although my OH said it sounds ok :rotfl:
I had better stop rattling on and move my 2 for school.
Hope everyone has a good day
Kind wishes and hugs.

Good Morning All,
Sistercas I am going to Aqua Aerobics on Thursday with DD. Really looking forward to it as well:T
Busy day today as I am off to the hospital for the final lot of tests. Nerologoical ones . The first one is an EMG/NCS and then EP's after that. Not sure what to expect but after this I should get an appointment to go back to the neurologist and hopefully find out whats going on, but don't hold out much hope after 10yrs:eek:
Luckily DH has taken the day off to come with me. He usually takes me out for lunch when we have a precious day together without any children, grandchildren etc. So that will be nice:)
Wet this morning so Wash on the maiden.
First day of eating well and looking after myself. I have decided I am definitely going to start looking after me as well as everyone else.
Need to shop but can't do it until Friday due to funds:o Will the meat still be on half price at Mr Sainsbugs??

Hi everyone,
Well the good news is that my biopsy came back all clear - I don't have to have further treatment. I will find out whether I have to have yearly mammograms on Monday after the team meeting.
I also saw the GP yesterday who told me I had labyrinthitis (the nurse I saw last week wasn't sure and sauid to wait and see). The tablets the doc gave me have made me feel so much better, but she told me she didn't want me to go back to work this week!. So hopefully no more moaning from me - I'm sorry, I know lots of you have much worse problems.
I shall try a little gentle housework etc. but I won't do too much this time.0 -
Morning.
Quick one from me. Kids are off to nursery this morning and this afternoon (fire brigade are visiting with a fire engine - sadly I can't stop and drool over the firemen
:rotfl:). So will take advantage of the free couple of hours and head up Mr S. Forgot to get nappies for DD at the weekend and we're running low. Might have a nose at the meat as I didn't on Saturday as it was toooooooooo busy.
Not much OS going on other than that really. Might do some cleaning this afternoon.
Want to look into a dance class to get some exercise. Can't face the gym or anything and I am not sure I would keep up with swimming
All this talk of doing some exercise is making me realise no matter how shattered I am I have got to fit some in as I am seriously unfit
Right enough of my waffle.
Diva - Glad Michelle is nearly recovered. Hope Tris improves x
jackieg - chocolate cake for brekkie? sounds like my start to the day
stroppyjock - I always have heart failure at the cost of tyres. Worst thing is my dad works for a tyre company so I don't pay full whack and at £70 a pair for the last lot I was pulling a face over the cost
I really shouldn't complain really........
Hugs for thos that need them. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knife

Morning all
Did my post...something shiny caught my eye down the right hand side and I went off on one....lost my post:o
Soooo....it went something like....I'm on DH enforced rest - two days doing nothing so I can hopefully get well for Saturday night when we are going away. Making a weekend of it (with the help of MSing
) and really looking forward to it
Went to see FIL last night as he had been off colour and he's much better. Got an anniversary present off him
a digital photo frame with a memory card that he had loaded our wedding photos on to :j We set it up last night and ended up watching that instead of the telly :rotfl:
DH is going to Queens University today .....to get strapped into a chair by his sister while she puts electrodes on him to take part in a study for her thesis :rotfl: should be interesting!
Lunch will be sandwiches and/or HM lentil and bacon soup and dinner will be....something from the freezer with chips I suspect as DH will be in charge!
Have a good day
