Morning & Wonderful Wednesday All,
Sun is trying here in Kent, rain on it's way I hear.
A quietish day ahead. Working on the 'grave project' again & then this afternoon off to meet up with a couple of friends for our usual 'Crafty Chat'. We all bring along our current craft projects & generally put the village to rights. I've been crotcheting hanging basket holders using cheap Wilkos twine to sell on the plant stall at the village flower festival in May. I love making things but am restricted by back pain if sitting for any length of time.
That creeping bamboo, incidentally, was dug up and transplanted into a cut down recycled water butt. That stopped it's antisocial underground activities in it's tracks.
Mum, in the nursing home y'day, was grouchy & I have to admit to willing my visit away, whilst putting on lots of smiles & ignoring all the negativity.
Everyone's meals sound good. I'll pop back for a cuppa with you all later. Be happy. XXX"Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Snoozer Just wanted to pop on and say great news about your results. I am sure you are very relieved. So Pleased for you((((Hugs))))
One of my colleagues at work had Labrynthitis and she had to take a month off. Hopefully you feel better more quickly but look after yourself, nothing is more important that your health xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

finish painting the lounge ceiling
get my haircut - rather thick atm
slimming world tonight
thats about it for today I think. Tea is fishcakes, mushy peas and chips for them - not sure about me yet.
hope you all have a good day xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Maitene - You started a baby quilt with sausages and lurking vegetable soup? Dare I ask?!?
Stroppyjock – I had to think about the flying. And I fly too!
Snoozer - Hooray! Good news indeed. :T
Jc2703 – shiny things are often my downfall too…
Lots of OSiness going on in my neck of the words – I crocheted my first “thing” last night! I’m very excited. It isn’t anything – just a thing. One day I’d like to progress onto scarves! A lady at work is teaching me. She’s making Mary-Jane Slippers which I must confess to coveting…
Puppy-Dog had a fabulous time at daycare yesterday. His friend found a mud-pit and he followed her in. Fortunately they were hosed down before being brought home! He was whacked – slept right through from 5pm-6am!
Breakfast today was wheaty biscuit thingies. Lunch is the last of my HM veggie lasagne from the freezer. Dinner will be soup – either from the freezer or using my stock that I made yesterday. Probably the former as I have to take bunny to the vet for vaccinations so time will be tight tonight. Then I can freeze my stock and make up soup when I get chance.
Need to make some cards for birthdays and other events in April, as well as scrapbook for Gran’s 93rd birthday. Ooh, and we’ve seen another house we like to need to sort a viewing for that. So much to do, so little time!
Hugs to all,

Hi everyone,
I also saw the GP yesterday who told me I had labyrinthitis (the nurse I saw last week wasn't sure and sauid to wait and see). The tablets the doc gave me have made me feel so much better, but she told me she didn't want me to go back to work this week!. So hopefully no more moaning from me - I'm sorry, I know lots of you have much worse problems.
That's what I've got at the minute Snoozer....Isn't it awful?? Have to agree the tablets make a world of difference!
Hope we both get well soon! and good news on the biopsy
Have you been taking ibruprofen at all? possibility that my labrynthistis is a reaction to it. Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Hi Guys,
Just to say Im pleased that your results came back negative Snoozer.
I have a chronic form of Labs or Labyrinthitis so hence the wobbling and falls. Its a horrid condition and generally clears up very quickly. However it can linger. There is a very good website called http://www.dizzytimes.com/. Lots of advice and forums might me worth having a look. They are a very friendly bunch of people too.
I have been MIA but have been reading. I dont feel very well at the moment so dont feel able to contribute much positivity particularly regarding OS activities. I have been trying though but life has been exceptionally trying and as a consequence I have been very anxious. Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

I had no idea that's what you had...I knew you weren't well but you don;t like to ask do you? I seen some information on uncompensated labrynthitis but didn't want to read to much. I like to know the facts without the scarey bits if you know what I mean!
I'd never heard of it before I got it - just shows how common it is....4 of us (so far!) on one daily!
I do feel like I'mimproving a little bit every day.... yesterday I felt really good so I didn't take my tablet....BIG mistake - soon took it when the room started moving! I'm finding reflective things kick me off....was at the doctors on Monday and the shiny floor and glass walls were a nightmare! and the automatic sliding door nearly finished me off!Climbing back on the OS wagon after a short vacation to Recklessness

Morning All ,
Halfway there folks!!! Nearly the weekend!!
floss - I think there's two issues here: Number 1 there is no one else who can do my job, and the person who tried to whilst I was sick, messed it up royally, and number 2, I just don't see the point in my being here. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter, I just don't care about it. Need to get over myself and get on with the saving up!
snoozer - that's great news!
MSD - glad to hear positive news about Tris and Michelle
A question for you helpful lot - do any of you live in or know someone who lives in Edenbridge in Kent? DH and I are considering it as somewhere we might like to move to - but know very little about it! Not sure how else to go about finding out what it's like to live there either...
OS wise today, more ironing (seriously getting bored of that too!) and am going to cook a Thai green curry for tea tonight, hopefully with enough leftovers for our lunches tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a nice OSey day, love and hugs to all xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

£110!!, £110!!:eek: for two rear tyres for a fiesta!! £18 of that on VAT! Anyone think the budget will throw up anything for savers?
Notice a lot of you are ironing, must be a bloke thing but I just hang up un-ironed and do it as required, saves time for me.
Away for cuppa and iced chelsea bun as a commiseration for the tyre price.

Morning peeps
Damp and grey here again today.
Waiting for the fireworks when DH gets home and finds a lorry parked across the drive - don't envy the driver!
DH does two jobs so he won't be happy if they are there all day
Nothing much planned for today apart from washing so I am goingto try and catch up on some sewing and try and finish the cathedral quilt I started before Christmas, it hasn't grown much because I haven't had time to do any while DH is decorating.
Diva....... Hope things continue getting better for you and yours ((((hugs))))
Snoozer......:T Great news that your results are negative x
