I still miss Pet Lois & think of her often.
    Thought provoking indeed obesity/disability.
I know as fact that I do less excercise because of ,my disabilty & then of course it has an impact on my weight.

I now have rocket, lettuce, peppers yellow ones, runner beans, never saw any cherry toms anywhere today and herbs growing, beautiful weather to be out there planting which I thoroughly enjoyed, just googling night sweats diabetics suffer from them so I have read, last night I thought I was being rained on from a great height:rotfl:

Good call Eric, I was trying to think of someone with a naturally good bodyshape, and I agree Kelly is lovely. Well, I was trying to find pics of what I felt might appeal to the masses. I know which women I think look nice, but they're not necessarily going to be to most men's taste. I considered Pamela Anderson, but then she's just fake anyway, and all the supermodels are skinny with no curves. No idea what men really like these days, coz Cheryl Cole is a stick insect, but all little girls want to be like her. God knows why? I prefer someone with a bit of substance about them, so it's got to be a funny personality, intelligence, sassy and nice looks too. So I think P!nk is a nice girl, not stupid, likes to read, and doesn't take herself to seriously.

Pretty much sums it up perfectly for me, pammy was always a vile fake barbie doll ughh, hate stick insect women and Cole is not only to thin but bloody annoying as well :rotfl:Had not seen pink before, got a bohemian / punk thing going on which seams very 80s :p not into blonds personally.

FHM top 100 probably a good place to start, although i dont read lads mags, have never heard of most of them, and that damn cole woman is no 1 :rotfl:however megan ;)

Went shopping and while we were out saw a woman who was seriously obese and struggling to walk. I felt really sorry for her, but it also made me feel fortunate not to be in the same situation - it kind of put things in perspective in a way, I may be obese but I can walk, cycle, swim and therefore do something about it, but I think once people get to a certain point of obesity it becomes so difficult to exercise that there's nothing they can do to stop it getting worse and worse. Her car was in a disabled space and I did wonder if it was the obesity that disabled her, or a disability that made her obese. Thought provoking...

Its frightening, I was only a stone or two away from that or even being house bound, stairs used to have me on my knees gasping for breath, and putting socks on was an epic adventure that was about to become impossible ..

    anyway drum roll ....

5.2 lb loss this week :j:j:j:j:jand this is not down to scale inaccuracy as I have a mega expensive and calibrated set of scales :), there far more accurate than my Docs ones :p, and i follow the same weighing procedure exactly every week.

so I am well happy especially as that was week 15!, will be interested to see if this is because of the switch to a lower carb diet and the addition of nuts and rapeseed oil into the diet

Really quickly as I'm supposed to be leaving for work. Well the damage from two weeks of snacking on bad stuff and little exercise is in and the result is 2lb gaincould've been worse and I'm now properly refocussed had some gorgeous salmon for dinner last night and my snacks are now all healthy.
  • Thats 2 weeks in and as I have not really tried a leg, I'm back/still my "normal" weight.
A quick jump on the scales there, i'm at 22st61/2lb so I'll start from here.(again!!!)
Was looking for that French version of Atkins the other night for a read and came across The Fat Burning Furnace.
Alot of it seems good common sense so I'm going to base my weight loss roughly round that.
Off to nursery to drop off kid then down to the gym for my first day of the new me lol.

the problem with a lot of these diets is they seam to ignore the fact we ate carbs for millions of years

eating refined carbs or carbs late in the day when your not going to be active is not ideal thou

My scales say a 6lb gain, TOTM is imminent so hopefully that is it, bloated tummy but hey today is weigh day so will have to go with what the scales say even though I am gutted and have no reason to have gained whatsoever but honesty is the best policy:D

6lb gain for me this week

Take the loss of 5.2lb without the justification, negative to it, you deserve, be proud, sing from the roof tops, don't reason why just accept it and :T:T:T:j:j:jit:D
