my convertable sees me once a year the poor thing!--i agree toyotas are amazing i had a celica 1973-it had well over 200,000 miles on the clock and was going strong--it burnt a bit of oil but never let me down!-i cant even remeber bulbs going!
Not only are nuts good diet tools they are also anti-cancer--just a handful!--shops here are full of the full spectrum--its time the uk turned away from its high meat diet--or fatty cheese--a lot of meals here come with rice instead of potatoes and yoghurt to give protein--i am quite into the veggie stuff since starting this!
nothing wrong with eating lots of meat especially red as long as its lean :j0 -
Just a flying visit today, reporting my weight as a STS this week (Chinese Buffet:o) a few too many drinks around my friends one night cost me a loss!
MarionWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
i like meat too! had some lovely lamb shanks with beans for sunday dinner. Lots of beans left over so might be having a variation on the Nigella white bean mash that bb loves so much. Or maybe some soup out of them, not sure yet. Probably shouldn't mention the dessert, but it did have 3 types of actual fruit on it! Glad to hear you all seemed to have nice weekends, although still going ick at the needle thing. Vix when do you move into the new place? And how do you have enough clothes? I run out after a week!0

dmv and Fellpony Ouch hope you're both feeling a bit better today
Hezza FANATASTICWell done you!!! (my face goes bright red too - weird isn't it. OH always judges hos hard I've been working at the gym by the shade of pink. didn't realise it means I'm burning off fat though - yay!!)
I had a horrendous weekend - basically if it didn't move I ate it! Back on track today though.
Cereal for brekkie
Wholegrain sandwich with wafer thin ham for lunch
Apple for snack (the most tasteless apple I have ever eaten in my life)
And I'm going to the gym tonight!
I need someone to time manage my life!0 -

Thank you, feeling better for having a normal kind of a day, totally understand what you mean about the if it doesn't move eat it thing. When the Asda man came at the weekend with my online order somehow I had managed to order a really rather nice carrot cakeunfortunatley it has about 300 cals in per slice and a slice it 1/12 of the cake!!! Dreadful but ohhhhhhh sooooooo tasty, I have had to go out today so the cake could have some alone time :rotfl::rotfl: I keep unwrapping it just to smell it as I dare not eat a piece, never mind a piece being 1/12, more like there would be 1/12 left!!
Fingers crossed for a loss tomorrow!!You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
Using this week's weigh in as a damage assessment day, and then I have to really focus again. I reckon that with 14 further WIs till my summer leave I could reasonably expect to lose a stone (which I seem to have gained since last summer
:o:o its snuck on as I haven't gained a dres size but may be getting close). This time I really will do it - there is no way I am getting any bigger all my lovely new clothes wouldn't fit  so must keep up the exercise (no excuses), cut out the chocolate, and cut back on the alcohol (which'll probably be the most tricky part especially as I go to a lot of social events where the alcohol flows freely). So here goes....

I bought some lovely herbs from the boot fair though, curry, lemon thyme and lavender as well as enough petunias etc to fill my hanging baskets, 2 strawberry plants and fuschia for the front trailing ones, all of that £11 so very pleased with that, all done, spent all afternoon potting, this year growing runner beans, strawberries, cherry toms, maybe lettuce we shall see,Fingers crossed my courgettes will take, hope your growings are a success this year

I have tried them all and for me Maris Piper taste much better than any of the other spuds
I 1000% recommend extra virgin cold pressed rapeseed oil, it makes the chips / wedges taste fantastic and is by far the healthiest oil available
Most supermarkets sell it, i paid £6 for 500ml which may seam like a lot but that would give 35 potions of chips if you use there 14ml spoon, so 3 months worth if you eat them 3 times a week.0
