Another 1lb loss for me this week :D

Not a huge loss but given I totally indulged Easter week end I'm quite pleased!!!!

Sounds like lots of 'pros' and not many (or any) 'cons' with this gym de1amo - I think you've already decided to go for it ;)

As to how you set your goal weight, I'd say set something that seems sensible to you for now, but be prepared to be flexible as the weight comes off. As you get closer and can see the results, then you'll be in a better position to judge what's right for you.

I started at BMI 27, it took me 8 months to reach target, and this is now my third year of maintaining between BMI 20-21 (there are a few of us maintainers on this thread as you'll get to know if you stick around :)).

Thanks for sharing your exercise plans BB :D Good luck with the hunt for a replacement saddle.
  • I am reporting another lowly 1lb Loss please fred :(

Not too impressed with myself, I didn't indulge over easter, No eggs, No Pudding and not great loss on the scales to show for it. Life does not seem fair somehow! I know I shouldn't complain too much as I still had a loss but I am being so good with my calories and doing exercise but I seemed to have hit a plateau now for 3 weeks and I don't like it

I'm sorry to sound so down but that is how I am feeling right now and I don't have TOTM or overeating to blame. I had such a good start I don't want to fail now. I don't understand what I am doing wrong........

Aliwantistosave - we don't have 'lowly' 1lb losses on this thread. Every 1lb off is a BIG achievement, remember if it's a fat loss that's a 3,500 calorie deficit you've created in JUST ONE WEEK! This is equivalent to 500 calories per day, not an easy task at all.

Just look at your sig - 30lb of 56lb lost already in 2010. Whatever you're doing is really working!!!

Ah the infamous plateau, happens to us all, there is no way that anyone can loose continually week after week otherwise we couldn't see each other we would be so skinny and the same for gaining, no way week in and week out do we gain:D
