Fellpony - great news today is the last day. Hope all goes well.
Beanie - me and DB thought of you (and pet) at the weekend when we saw a load of radley handbags.
Thought I'd just casually mention -3lbs for me this week please fred. Unfortunately as a result of much upchucking on Monday and not eating loads since. Still, it's a nice silver lining:D.
Not feeling too good so will catch up more latersI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
It an sts for me.

Fellpony - keeping everything crossed for you and DD.

I honestly thought you were going to say she had a big crack in her @rse!!:rotfl::eek: I really didn't see ceiling as an option!
Vix - we can only hope that as British Summertime has begun, that you're sporting the new season's trend down below!
Victory - well done, it'd be a poke in the eye with a blunt stick to her if you got 100% next time as well, huh?
Fellpony - glad it's your DD's last session. Will she have to have any further treatement?
BB - Sorry to hear you've not been well. A sickness bug always has a weightloss upside.
Totally forgot to weigh in this morning, as OH wanted to dash off out to the shops, and I wanted to get some stuff too. So, I'll be optimistic and report a STS please Fred.
I've been out pottering in the garden and greenhouse, but now it's started raining I can't do any more outside. Have just had a lovely wholemeal ham sandwich, and back off into the greenhouse in a bit.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -

There is no comfort in comfort eating, it makes you feel guilty, sad, lonely, unhappy, naughty, self ruining and lousy, no comfort there eh?:D;)0 -
Hi all, I've been away a while, I've come off Harcombe as it was messing me up and I've spent a week trying to make myself eat normal portions again. She might say it stops starving/binging cycles, but for me it was just enabling me to eat very little and blame it on the diet. STS still though, at 139.6lbs.Dinah You could be the very person to give me an honest answer - my OH used to go to KungFu classes and has been pestering me for years to start going to a new class with him. I don't do violence / fighting and I'm fed up telling him this, but he tells me that it'll get me really fit and keep me safe - do you think I'm being stupid?
You need to be careful which martial art you try. I found Kung Fu far too intimate, lots of people in my personal space which I didn't like. I did like kickboxing, no grappling, all done with a distance between you, maybe not the best for fighting off attackers but great for getting you fit and confident.Brighton_belle wrote: »
Dinah - I know the clothes sizes from the 50's were different but didn't realise from only 20 yrs ago. I think missy is right, that she does a lot of exercise for fun and most days of the week
Are there any toning activities you can do, like pilates, tummy curls that would drop you a dress size round your waist while not effecting your weight/food intake?
Every sympathy with your knee - my employer is struggling with a major knee prob at the mo and she loves running/cycling and gardening..
I tried but I have to physically lift my leg/knee with my hands to move it so its really not possible.
I didn't realise you were waiting for knee surgery Dinah, good luck with that, and I like the sound of your plans for when it's sorted! I hope you can also find a way to make Harcombe work for you, or if not try something else because no way is 1/3 of a pineapple enough for a whole morning!
I have 6 weeks of physio starting on Tuesday, which is about 25% likely to solve the issue, but if it doesn't I'll be going on to keyhole surgery at the end of May.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Fellpony - Good luck to your DD, fingers crossed all goes well for you both.
VIX!!! I had to thank you for that post, because I got a great big belly laugh out of it. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Haven't had the heart to step on the scales yet, just dropped my German guests off at the airport, if they had half the time that I had when they were here, I think we'll be seeing them in Scotland again pretty soon. Will jump in for a good soak in the tub to ease my wonky knee soon and dare to step on the scales
But vix, seriously, :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::T:T Thank you!!!4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
It is a known fact that exercise gets the hormones going, the adrenalin up and makes you feel calmer, happier and less stressed, all the docs recommend exercise even if it is just walking in the fresh air, my MIL suffered from depression and she still says to this day the only thing that did not finally send her crazy was the walking in the fresh air to clear the head and feel alive:D0
