Well done on your 100% victory - ignore your supervisor, some people are just out to ruin yours & everyone else's day, I'm afraid, so take no notice£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain0 -
my supervisor is forever eating bananas, offering me one, then going out and buying a mayonnaise ladden sandwich, packet of crisps, sweets to go with it then snacks for the rest of the day on choc cake, whatever biscuits the people have brought in, toffees, etc then goes home and because her husband has the onset of diabetes has a 'healthy meal' then the rest of the evening is either lucozades for energy, slimfast shakes, sweets, crisps and biscuits and then she feels she is doing well because she had jelly for dessert:rotfl::rotfl: a right mish mash of a diet she has got:rotfl:
She also finds it hard to sleep so she is often infront of the fridge at 2am looking for something to eat or drink, she takes sleeping tablets but then has masses of lucozade!
a difficult one, i wonder what could possibly be disturbing her sleep patterns hmmmm
nope cant figure it out :rotfl:0 -
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:not even scientifically:rotfl: some people cannot see what they do to themselves even though she constantly asks me advice and how did I loose 7 1/2 stone I tell her and she reaches for the lucozade:rotfl:or if she is being really good the slimfast with a few sweets to wash it down with:rotfl:0

Victory, some people are just like that. Reminds me of when I passed an exam and one of the golden boys of the company didnt so they sent his exam to be re-marked as they said if even I could pass it then they must have mis-marked his paper! The cheek, I worked hard on that!
Im still struggling to find both motivation and will power. I dont get it, Im utterly miserable with my weight and how I look so what more motivation do I need?!0 -
Motivation has to be self, just because.... health reasons, to look better, to get into the bikini, the dress, to attend the wedding and everyone go wow, to feel better, more energized, to carry less weight around and feel better inside and outside, I have lost count of the times the docs told me to loose weight for the arthritis, for the knee pain for the diabetes etc and I was always like yeah yeah but the motivation came one xmas when over it I put 7lb on and tipped over to the next stonage and I thought to myself that is enough of black clothes, enough of eating for 4 people, enough of puffing up the stairs and my inner thighs rubbing together, enough of spots on my face and as my other half pointed out I used to get spots on my bum:rotfl: in the first week I did not loose anything and was on the floor with hunger, despair and what is the point? Kept at it for 'one more week' and that week lost 4lb so there was the motivation kept at it and every week lost 3lb or 4lb and every 2 weeks loosing 1/2 stone is a great motivator, then it lessened , the hunger lessened, the weight came off and the black went, the spots, the huffing and puffing and it was all replaced with good positive things, BMI normal, clothes fab, playing with the kids great, cycling fun, skin clearer, the darkness lifted and then then there was light:D
No one can motivate yourself, you have to do that but keep in mind it is worth the effort because the end results outweigh the torture to get there and the good can stay for life, a longer, happier life:D;)0 -
Totally agree with Victory you have to find the right reason and the will to do it - something will just click and it's definitely worth it. Two years ago I was perfectly happy, no one mentioned my size although I was the biggest at work and in my friendship group and I was struggling with a fitness assessment but I'd have got there in the end. Then I took six weeks off work and decided to go to WW and haven't looked back. Only dropped 2 dress sizes but it has made a huge difference, especially this year when I went to do my fitness assessment (I did nearly fail but that was beause I assumed as previously that everyone would do better than me and got thrown by overtaking people) and passed first time, its no longer the terrifying experience it was.0

as victory said it has to come from within and is the single hardest thing to get to grips with
if you have a lot of external pressures / stress then its going to be very hard
normally if you can stick to healthy eating and some exercise for a couple of weeks you will feel a lot better which helps a lot
some foods can make you feel crap (ie nutritionally rubbish) some because the brain is designed to release hormones to encourage us to eat them and others because there basically foreign to our digestive systems (processed foods). one of the things i have noticed is that if i eat wheat and especially bread i feel "heavy" in my gut and lethargic and listless for a couple of days
i am certainly looking forward to getting into a bikini0 -

Oh god. I hate hair. And im the kinda girl who will wax you when youre not looking. My ex was blonde, that was fine. Matt my current and everlasting is dark and very hairy, its just not good (unless he looks rugged). Although were now at the stage where he moans more about me using his razor than leaving my hair long everywhere, which i do to prove a point day in day out (unless im out and then of course i would have to tame myself for everyone elses benefit)0
