And also a little threat - I remember that conversation about the exercise plan, and I will be checking up to see if you are sticking to your little commitment.
I'd love to know what this is!!! (Hint, hint) Glad you had a great weekend you two!
Did my monthly weigh in yesterday and it was STS but not as good as it sounds because body fat up (slightly) and muscle down (slightly). Time for another tweak I think because I'm still at the top of my maintain range and it just ain't budging!!!
I've turned my recently completed 6 monthly exercise targets into full year ones (as per sig), and also added some more new ones involving my diving, skating, snowboarding etc. Looking forward to this lot!
Hope everyone's enjoying the long weekend and good luck this week!0 -

Blimey Missy just reading your sig makes me feel warn out
Well done on what you have managed so far, I am sure you will be able to tweak your plan and loose the little you have put on.
Well I went out for a bike ride today but have to say my poor bottom is not up to cyclingit is killing me and I only did 30 mins
I even had some padded shorts on under my jeans and that made no difference. Wish I had gone for a long walk instead.
Had a nice day yesturday and felt I did really good with no potato's or yorkshire pudding with my roast dinner, also had a yoghurt for pudding. My family did buy me a little bit of chocolate but I think the fact I am trying to loose weight has registered as they brought my OH easter eggs.
My sister has a vibraplate machine so I had fun playing with that in the afternoon. I see what people mean as my vision went all wobbly, but sitting on it to help tone my bottom made me giggle :rotfl: I really want one now. Maybe when I win the lottery
Good luck with the weigh in's this week everyone xRestarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Is a vibraplate similar to powerplates?

I think so ....... i believe it cost her about £150 but she seems to think it has made a big difference to her thighs and bottom. Shame about the big crack it has made in her ceiling though :eek:Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

i was just thinking this, a domestic house is in no way protected from the monstrous vibrations one of these things can make, would be easy to damage it, i can not think of an easy way to reduce the vibration, myabe have the unit sit on an inch thick cork block.0 -

looks the same imo as the slim fast **** (and the tesco meal substitute ****) ie there loaded with sugar (up to 40%...) and often have high fat
wow this stuff is even worse... 51% Sugar !!!! high sodium and 3.5% sat fat is high as well
there not healthy imo and are probably just a crutch for people looking for "the magic weight loss system" which does not exist.
you would be far better just eating healthy; low fat meats, lots of fruit and veg, lots of natural carbs (ie carbs that are not processed) and either calorie counting or following a system that makes doing this easier like WW, SW or Hardcombe.
try to avoid foods that activate the pleasure centre of the brain as they can cause addictive type behaviour (cheese, chocolate, high fat, refined sugars, caffeine).0 -
Woah, lots of posts since I was last here. 2 pages of reading to catch up on.
German visitors leave tomorrow, have been feeding them traditional Brit food and can feel the waistband of my jeans tightening  Have done lots of extra walking, even climbed up to the wallace monument in Stirling. Didn't think I would make it but did.
Off to Edinburgh today, saved the best sites for last. They go home tomorrow. Then back to work for me on Thursday.
Probably best that I can't weigh in first thing tomorrow morning tho :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Well have had a very busy fortnight, the builders have eventually started work in the house, so hopefully we won't be in temp accomodation for much longer, :j, it will be nice to go home, we've been out since the floods in November.
First wedding dress fitting was a hoot, I was measured before Christmas for the skirt so it should have fitted but then I started losing weight and exercising , I know scales wise I have lost 1st 5lb, so was interesting to see that the skirt fell right back off when it was put on!! So the alterations are begining, I had forgotten how lovely my dress is, it has been in my best friends wardrobe so my OH can't see it, and I just haven't looked at it since I bought it (again before Christmas!!).
Weight wise I was a STS last week and am STS this week, quite happy with that as have had stinking migraines this week and meals out last week, should get back on track this week, Hubby to be back at work and mates kids back at school!! Although might just feel the need to celebrate, DD has her last dose of chemo tomorrow then we start the long process of check ups so we will have our fingers crossed for quite some time yet.You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0
