Yes sorry Eric - I forgot it's the end of the month too :o CONGRATS TO ERIC FOR BEING SOTM (will see if it will let me edit my chart post to change it)
Oh !! why was I not on this weeks chart ??
I was obviously having a bad day this week - sorry I missed your post (and you'd posted it in big coloured writing too - sorry). Have updated the chart ready for next week.

How do you double quote? I havent got a clue!

There is a button on the right of the "quote" button. Click on that on the first post that you want to quote (button turns red/pink), do this for all the posts you want to quote. On the last post you want to quote click on the "quote" button instead and your post will open with all the quotes in one after the other.

    Happy Easter everyone!

    Thanks for the chart fred.

Welcome Louise, glad to see you getting involved in the banter here. It's the best way to get involved, and feel supported. As you have probably noticed, it goes a tad off topic sometimes, but that's all part of the 'group'.

Vix - have you considered getting some bromide in your tea? :D I have to say that I do tend to think that as your hormones change during a month, you can feel the 'urge' more than at other times. I think our bodies are designed to make us that way, for successful procreation. Just glad my OH has had the snip, because there only needed to be the twang of knicker elastic for me to get caught (hence I have 4 children)! I have to say, also, the other side of 40 is very nice!! ;)

Eric - What a fab result! Well done, but it's all down to your hard work, and dedication. I do admire how hard to stick at it. Apologies for my hot-cross bun !!!!!! earlier in the week. I agree that this weekend is going to be a bit too tricky for most to stick on track, with the emphasis so much on food at Easter.

I have to admit I have indulged in my h/m hot cross buns I made. OMG they were delish. I followed such an easy recipe online, used my breadmaker, and made them in muffin style cases, and they looked as good as they tasted. At least I know there's no rubbish preservatives or additives in them either.

Last night I went out for a belated birthday meal. We went for an Indian, and I stuck to having meat and salad for starter and main course. It was scrummy. It was also lovely to come home not feeling stodgy or stuffed, but having had a pleasant meal, with plenty enough to eat. Stayed up too late again watching a film, and then OH and I couldn't get off to sleep at 2am! We did that Thursday night too.

This year I am having an easter egg, which I've not done for years. OH and I get few treats at the mo, so I decided we were worth it. I'm organising the boys' egg hunt tomorrow, which even my 18 y/o still loves to get involved with. I am always quite mean with my hiding places, and the eldest is the worst for getting frustrated at not finding his. They may remember the freezer and tumble dryer places this year tho.

Have a happy easter everyone, and pace yourself with the indulgences, which is what I plan to do.

I have got green and blacks tiny eggs for easter and the littlelest lindt gold rabbit, tiny ones but lovely ones and hope to enjoy them tomorrow, was given some diabetic thorntons chocs but they are awful and can't even seem to palm them off onto the kids they hate it also:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: first ever year we are not having an easter egg hunt through lack of interest from the kids, asked OH if we should have another baby so that we can continue the family tradition but he said *^&%^$%&&*^&% way:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I guess I will just have to look at the kids and bemoan their growth:rotfl:

Well I've got a little chocolate rabbit for tomorrow and have resisted the temptation to buy something else. And must remember not to check out hotel chocclat's reduction both for LW and MS reasons

    Hi all

I'm beginning to realise that I have actually got great willpower - I've resisted all temptations to buy hot cross buns and easter eggs and I'm polishing my halo as I type! :A OH and I aren't following a particular plan, we're trying to eat less/sensibly and exercise more, which means that in reality, nothing is forbidden, we're just choosing not to eat fattening things.

Although I joked about being committed for using McDonalds internet where people are eating things we don't, it really doesn't bother me not to have their food - apart from the poo and the fact that it doesn't bio-degrade, when I have eaten it I usually suffer with indigestion for ages afterwards, so I just don't.

We've been sharing Cadbury's caramel bunnies, which are absolutely gorgeous and only 100 calories each, so we don't feel guilty. Doing exercise is still proving a problem, although we did manage to go for a walk between showers yesterday.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend - enjoy whatever treats you allow yourself. :D

We have been shopping all day today, oh to have pay day, OH calls it the millionaires weekend:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: we should have enough to see us for a while, made me laugh though in Sainsburys everyone was going mad in the easter egg aisle, they have been in the shops from the 1st jan and everyone is going mad today:rotfl:

Cos of sell by dates why would anyone want to buy easter eggs in January? You would have to eat them long before Easter comes around. So I'm guessing that they leave it to the last minute so that they last a bit longer.

Pleased to say that even tho the kids have got choccy eggs coming out of their ears and they are constantly offering me some I have been able to resist temptation so far - I just dont fancy milk chocolate these days. I have two 70%+ dark choc eggs waiting for me (one from Green & Blacks the other from Divine) so I'm going to ration myself over the next few days. That's the good thing about dark chocolate, I dont need to eat much to satisfy my sweet tooth.:D

I have a leg of lamb roasting in the oven at the mo' and it smells delish - cant wait! I'm going to make Delia's redcurrant, mint & orange sauce to go with Yum!! :D

haha. This is why i dont do the pill because you never know what happens in your cycle, i have a good idea of when i ovulate each month, i have a good idea when im going to come on ect. Its a good way of knowing that i am running smoothly. Im not that fertile i dont think, either that or the past 4 and a half years we have been really lucky.

Do men still be normal men when youre 40 odd?
