argh for some reason (actually, the usual monthly reason) I am ravenous today!! Am trying to stick with SW free food - banana, cherries, pineapple, herbal tea (no milk) but have had to cave in and had 4 rich tea biscuits!! Can't wait for dinner time!!

    Ninth Anniversary
Hi everyone, long time lurker on these boards but thought it was about time I showed my face and said hi. :D

I'm not following a diet as such, just trying to cut out all the rubbish that I shovel down my neck day in day out, and increase the exercise. I definitely lack motivation, and am a comfort eater, but hoping to change all that. I'd like to drop a couple of dress sizes rather than set a goal of weight loss, I'd just like to be able to look and feel good about myself, its been a while since I did!
  • Hey guys,

Life is good - I have 10 weeks, 3 days and 15 hours until I get married :-D

Have a doozy of a dress and a fab holiday in Sri lanka lined up.....what I haven't had is a miraculous 3st weight loss :p But i have been thoroughly enjoying myself.

I want to get to my pre-thesis weight before my honeymoon and have the grandplan of buying myself a treat (like nail polish) everytime I lose a pound.....

Today has not gone to plan but as its our 8yr anniversary it doesn't bother me in the slightest...I have 10 weeks and reckon I can easily shift 10lbs in that time (probably jinxed it now :p)

Missy - personal bests on 10k :T I remember when you were scared to even jog out your door :-p

Speaking of which I may motivate myself to go running tomorrow morning my personal best (0.4m without dying :rotfl:).

i made a dramatic discovery about 3pm today--its Tuesday not wednesday so i am a day previous!! i wondered why no one was posting losses!
my first gift to myself on acheiving my target was to go to the dietician and have another scan to see how my muscle fat ratio was--despite my recklessness i came out on target--i just need to get my head around maintenance eating as i have become so accustomed to this regime--i did up my calories to 1497 a day as i came to my target which gave me a soft landing from the 1200 i had lived on--i have seldomly eaten back my exercise calories as my fitness pal recommends but it seems to have done little harm. i reckon i have under estiimated my calorie intake by silliness and portion control--i ate roasted almonds when i was adding normal almonds to my diet sheet with nothing added as an example! silly things--for a long time i also drank tea with full cream instead of semi--my stupidity but i needed those calories albeit inadvertantly allowed
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.
