registering my loss of 1kg for the week loss 2lbs --now at 11 stone which is my goal weight!!i have lost 14kgs or nearly 30lbs (i think) and it has taken me about 11 weeks and is just 1 week shy of my summer holiday in Bournemouth.--i will now alter my protein intake to gain some more muscle as way of tonning up.
--i was spied by a gym trainer in the changing rooms yesterday who said i look normal but i should not lose anymore--they have all been saying i have lost too quickly but i put that misconception down to my baggy clothing due to me now being a medium when i started as a large--no one apart from my critical wife had seen me without my shirt on and she prefers beefy men!!-time to buy lots of medium tee shirts and shorts that dont drown me--lots of slim fits!!

    gratz :j:j:j:j

you will need to eat alot more now, YOU MUST cover your basic metabolic needs plus what you work out, if you do not you will start to consume your own muscle and internal organs, people have died from heart failure because of this.

good luck bulking up, its not how much you do but rather good technique and working to failure

    Hi all,
Sorry for not posting, its been eventful! I have a job which starts in september now as a teaching assistant who is purely one on one special needs with 2 children and the rest is unnacounted for as yet but is with the inclusion team so probably something similar. Was my third ever interview and the other 2 were ok jobs but 20 miles each way from home, this is the best school in the county and 8 miles! Its not the job I actually went for, that was given internally but 2 hours after my interview I was called and told they were apparently "so impressed" that they had seen what hours they could make up and created a job for me! Its only 22 hours but they are trying to find me some more and the fact that its such a good school which hinted about putting me through my teacher training next year means its very much worth it and i will just have to take on a little second job to boost my income for a while.

Diet has been ok....although i have made a banana loaf thats gonna be eaten as lunch for the next few days, though that was a desperately need to use up stuff going bad and i cant afford to waste it so its a meal replacemement rather than a snack, still not great but i did reduce the sugar vastly...Weirdly though, when i got on the scales last week I was bloated and had but o 5lbs, I didnt report it because im hoping it must be a fluke. The mini pill I am on has stopped my periods (woooooohooooooooo) but i know you can still get the weight like fluctuations so could be that, and hopefully not the half a stone gain that everyone, even the pill packet, has told me to expect. It will be worth it though for the lovely freedom of not feeling rubbish every month, just more work for me!

Oh...and i get my degree grade tomorrow! Am absolutely terrified. Years one and 2 i averaged 68 and 66 and that is my average score anyway (lowest ever was 51 in year 1, highest was 86 this year but they were both flukes!) with most essays coming in at mid to high 6o's and a very firm 2:1....however, as it turned out 1 lecturer who i had never had until this year is marking 3 of my assignments that im waiting on (including dissertation) and the only other essay he has ever marked was before christmas and a very harsh 52 which was awful awful awful for me. Am scared that he will mark badly enough to drop me down a whole grade to a 2:2 which I know is respectable but way below what I have been getting so crappy not fair. If that is the case I will either have to graduate with that grade or appeal saying how can about 15 lecturers over 3 years mark all my essays way above that and with a clear average, and his average be at least 20 marks under that in loads of work? Would suggest hes the 1 bucking the trend. Tho I personally believe even if someone else looked at my work they wouldnt discredit him purely out of loyalty even if they thought he was in the wrong so.......

Am so praying for a 2:1.

Right sorry for all that guys had a lot to say!

you can do it, my hol is 4 weeks saturday, so looking forward to it:D

I love the albondigas when I go to Spain(meatballs in tomato based sauces or garlicky or what they consider to be gravy but it is dark sauce with usually wine in it and garlic with loads of spices) never have been able to re-create it here at home even though I have loads of recipes but it never tastes the same.

I went off paella seems to me heavy now, the fish is lovely but all that burnt rice and grease yuck no, used to be my ab fav:D

    seren we can see you:D

A course in spetember book came through the letter box, meditation looks interesting anyone been on one? I was going last year for the cake making and never got round to it and would love to do the counselling one but also never signed up, life passes me by:rotfl::D

Well I've taken the plunge and signed up for SW online (I have no time - or inclination - to join a local group) for £60-ish for 3 months. I have been filling in my online food diary for today but I can see its going to take time to get used to. Been trawling through the SW thread too so some useful tips on there. Today so far I've had

    B: Porridge & sliced banana
    S: 1 apple, 1 satsuma
L: Pasta in homemade tomato sauce, large mixed salad, LF yoghurt

.... and I feel absolutely stuffed. :o Planning a chicken stir fry with noodles for dinner using a packet sauce, so that's virtually all my syns gone for the day (porridge = 5, stir fry sauce = 9 ). Anyone know of a tangy sauce I can make just from store cupboard ingredients?

Right now my little lad is playing his guitar in a special school assembley where all the kids who are learning a musical instrument are showing off what they've learned to the parents. He has been practising really really hard and is really getting into it (after months of me nagging him to practice!) - OH is there with camera at the ready but I WANT TO BE THERE TOO!! (sob! sob!)
