Life wise is pretty rubbish.. dunno where to start but im pretty confuzzled as to whether matt and i have a future together or not. I think im being really selfish, but i wanna do things with my life and i had this big chat with my friend and even though i feel how i do i suddenly feel so happy, and i havent felt this way in a long time, and that in itself is making me question if matt is the right one for me.
Vix sometimes life is full of questions, you have to prioritize which ones you need answers to right now, which ones can wait and which ones have no significance, you and matt seem to have done so much together in a short space of time maybe that is why you feel like you do, you may feel 'hemmed in' or have fears that it all a bit too much , take a step back before you do anything, go off with your friends for the weekend and miss him, or go on the hols you intended to go on, the trips the fun, whatever it takes, they say 'if you love something, let it go, if it comes back to you it is yours if it doesn't it never was'
You can feel incredibly happy with your friends and matt, both are different things but can be linked.0 -
Good quote victory! Its tough tough tough. A part of me thinks i will regret leaving him, another part of me feels i will regret it if i stay. I feel like ive achieved nothing and done nothing with my life. Im 24 this year and have sweet f a to show for it. Im unhappy, im stressy and i wanna get poofaced!
On a brighter note (im starting to lead a double life where im pretending im single) i went to pilates at half 9 this morning and then to the gym afterwards. Ive worked out that if i go to a class i can then get a free swim/gym session and therefore bypass the £25 joining fee for the gym and swim. So i had fun this morning getting fit for the barcelona holiday.

Morning:D for the last 2 weeks I have had to log every morsel and drink on a spreadsheet chart for the diabetic centre to analyze and see why the highs and hypos occur, I thought I was doing rather well as it takes ages but just got another email saying must put down timings also so now it is breakfast, lunch, dinner, bed, the dosage the carbs the timings the hypos, re check after 10 mins see if it has gone up and write that down as well:D
Geeze:rotfl::rotfl:that apple with the carbs or the crackers with the carbs seem more like a chore now:rotfl: so it is all logged, date, timings, blood sugar numbers, the dips, the highs the lows, surely she can't need any more info:rotfl:
Eldest is behaving like an angel, has a GCSE today maths, 4 more after that and he has finished and he has a job now...banana packing for 9 hours at £6 an hour:T
He made me laugh has done 2 shifts so gets £98.20 on friday not bad for a nearly 17 year old eh:D, he came home with some bananas for me and handed them over saying 'there you go mum, stick with me and you will never have to buy bananas again':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Very nice huge ones they were green waitrose organic fairtrade ones, he is such a funny kid:D0 -

your a baby, at 24 you should be out having fun, you have time to worry about achieving things in your 40-70s, SWMBO didnt start studying till her later 30s and got her masters by early 40s, and she left school with no qualifications.
just remember that any one that can not respect you or treat you like a princess is not worth the dirt on the bottom of your shoes
I had a respectable week actually beat my weekly target :j:j:j, a lot of people at work are now commenting on my loss, getting hard to deny it really
still worried that they will find something serious bad on the 18th0 -
Hi all
Sorry I'm not around much, I've been keeping up with the thread, just haven't had much to say. I've also got into knitting again, so in the evenings when I'd usually have one eye on the TV and the other on my computer, I've been clicking my needles instead.
Hugs to everyone who's having a hard time at the moment - hope things improve for all of you soon.
I was listening to Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 at lunchtime - he was discussing whether a council should be responsible for taking a dog away from its owners because they'd let it get obese, it kept escaping and had a skin problem. Two callers rang in to say that the council shouldn't be wasting their money on animals, but should be taking obese children into care and making them lose weight. I was quite taken aback to hear that opinion, and its been playing on my mind ever since, mainly because I was obese as a child. An obese child already has plenty to cope with without the threat of being removed from the family home, which would seem like a punishment for something that is beyond the child's control.
Did anyone else hear it, and did it have the same effect on you if you did?

I didn't hear it. But I hate to see obese kids. Think it's because I wasn't a fat kid. I was mega skinny and used to get called sparrow legs. God knows what happened. 2 kids, over eating and having a job where i sat on my 4rse all day I guess. Would love to see more action on obese kids tho, not being taken into care or anything as extreme as that, but how about educating the parents, encouraging healthy eating etc etc etc. Dunno how i was as skinny when i stayed at home because it was always high fat stodgy typical brit dinners we had.
Neither of my kids were overweight as children. Although my eldest daughter could do with losing a few pounds now, alas she isn't ready for it, have done what I can to encourage her, but she's really not interested atm. My lad is just football mad, when he's not out playing it, he's playing it on xbox. Although for obvious reasons I would prefer him to be playing for real, but he's a wee skinny lad so can get away with it for now.
But wouldn't it be great if kids came with an instruction manual and we all knew exactly what to do with them. There would be no tooth decay, no obesity, they would all be little angels. And alas wouldn't be kids. I would settle for a volume control button on them rather than the instruction manual tbh4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Sure it wont be bad news on 18th eric but I do know it plays on your mind.

i used to work in a fruit warehouse and was always frightened of the banana store because i worried about the tropical spiders--i used to get enough fruit to feed 4 families though! there are so many types of lettuces that are really delicious -i dont know why we seem obsessed with just normal or iceberg--shops seem so limited in the fruit and veg i feel.
i am still alive -enjoying my calorie counting and seem lighter this week-i have booked my ticket for England in July so 31 days left to get down to my target weight of bmi 22, something- just 6,5lbs to go - last week was a stuff up! wishes to everyone. and good luck for your appointment Eric.mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
