If you've gone too far with your weight loss then maybe focus on toning a bit? I know some of the ladies on here have had opinions about shoulders, so I offer you this:-
Well he does it for me anyway!!
He is my dream boat!! Thank you SOOOOOOO much for this piccy!!
Off to print piccy on to paper bag for HWMDAT!! (Oh I so wish he would wear the paper bag some times!!!! LOL)You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
Thank you for all the congrats on finishing everyone. In terms of burns my lip is very sore but the rest, although pink and sensitive isnt that bad at all. Was walking past a chemist today so did pop in and talk to the pharmacist and he said yes lip looks very sore and will scab but because lips heal quickly should just be a slightly off colour this time next week and then within a few weeks be perfectly fine...rest of my face/neck will be normal colour within a couple of weeks also. Right my back is killing and want to be up to clean my house to extra sparkly for the potential buyers so am off to bed, think all this work has caught up on me!0

dont worry scots 1/2lb is a glass of water! always next week to change things--i was a kilo up yesterday and today i am down 1,5 kilos--i am drinking loads of fluids and finding a big fluctuation but the reading sticks. also every time i supplement my diet with lots of nuts i get bunged up!
I know what effort i've put in so not too worried. It's just about kickstarting it. Going to have a takeaway and a drink tonight, hopefully kickstart tomorrow again.0 -
4 pairs of shorts, 2 3/4 length and 1 dress from last summer do not fit, 4 shorts on ebay, 3/4 length in bin and 1 dress for the charity shop, OH was bored yesterday and made me take out all the Spain draw and try things on one by one to see what I would need, I said nothing as I had a draw full and was confident I did not need a thing, 1st pair of shorts trying on could not believe it, second pair trying on had to fight back the tears, third pair, got angry with OH for making me do this:rotfl:
4th pair was raging with anger, what is the point to all this blah blah, even when they fitted me I used to be lacking in cofidence and kept asking are they o.k? Do I look big in these? What about the belly?
No pleasing some women:rotfl::rotfl:so since last year at the lowest where people kept saying I looked old 11 lb has gone on, I was too thin then so 4lb was good to put back on but now there is 7lb adrift which 10lb makes a different dress size so I was either cramming into them last year or they fitted and I do need to go up a dress size? Me thinks it is the latter and with 8 weeks to go to the hol I am gutted:D
OH practically solution is get them on ebay, sell, the money you get you buy ones that fit, it is so fab to be a man:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I eat healthily all day long every day so will not be cutting back anymore than I already do, guess I will have to accept that I have gone up a dress size and those shorts will never fit me comfortably and erase it from my mind.:D
I guess turning down invites out to dinner, BBQ's and take aways still does not get me to wear those shorts:D
Car boot sale tomorrow so will go there looking for clothes in a larger size and just forget once I used to be able to get into a smaller size:rotfl::rotfl::D0 -
bb I would have come see 'ya at the weekend had I know I was dealing with a celeb xx
And thanks granny.
Sorry you are having a clothes trauma victory. I know it means a lot to you to have reached the size you have. Maybe your body, with meds and getting a little older just needs to naturally settle a little higher.
I've had the pleasure of everything fitting from last year but then I've settled for a size 16 as I don't want/can't hack the stress of constant deprivation. I'll only potentially drop to a 14 if health issues change.
Eric - you take it careful! You don't want to be definitely permanantly !!!!!ed. However only you know the full score and it it is keeping your morale up...then I'm sure you are inching forward carefully. Sometimes we have to find our own path through the maze.
Welcome Shell (and well done so far:T) and miow - post as much as you can for max benfit.
pepop and vixstar - how's things going?
dmv - well, I guess your diss is now in, dispite last minute panic. You have done so well to complete all your course work on time, with what you have been through this last year. Wasn't so long ago you were haveing to have extentions.
Hope the burns didn't keep you awake. Good luck with the viewings today.
de1amo - I think you fan base may have just risen dramatically:rotfl:.
Well, yesterday was quite a day for me too: pants in the morning and rather fab in the afternoon.
The bad news was from my consultant. Sadly, my blood tests show the numbers they don't like are rocketing and they have to take me off my current meds or my kidney's will be damaged.
The last 2 times they have have to do this have been an utter diaster and I've been very ill and had 6 months to a year wiped from my life. So not the best of news. They are going to try me on more of 'the lastest drug' which I will have to self inject. The last 'the lastest drug' triggered crippling arthritis 2 yrs ago...
But ,I've had a little cry and now I have to focus on believing that these migth work out really well and I'm not going to have an horrendous time. Can't start them quite yet as I have to undergo vaious tests next week but should be very soon.
The fab news was that in the afternon, a lovely gift shop told me they really really wanted to stock my clocks and mosaics :j. So they have taken 5 and we'll see if they sell. That is the realisation of a dream I have long held and I can't quite believe it has happened but it's absolutely great.
Having a gentle day today as not a lo of sleep last night, due to pains form meds and it is hot out there. Bought in loads of saldy stuff yesterday so feeling righteous on the food front:DI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Well done on the clocks front BB let's hope they fly off the shelves and want more.
Fingers crossed the new meds work properly this time too.
Work have announced a reorganisation of my section (to merge with another into a new section) and there are 2 or 3 people in each section who are dead against it. 2 weeks consultation and then implimented within a further 2 weeks. It has been rather fraught in work this week.
I'm struggling with losing weight too at the moment so will have to monitor what I eat more closely and try to find the time to do exercise. The main time I have to exercise is late at night when the temp in the front room goes up to around 30 degrees so I find it difficult to do anything in that temperature (not a heat person - give me the cold and snow anytime).
Hope everyone's having a good weekend - how are you feeling now Beanie are you ok?0 -
