Beanie - so sorry, <<<hugs>>> to you, hope you're feeling better today.

I saw the most uplifting sight last night. I'd taken DS swimming and we were just leaving the car park to head home when I stopped to let a jogging woman go by - followed by her 2 little sons on bikes! I knew they were all together as she was talking to them and showing them where to cross the road (they looked about 7-8 years old). It was only a fleeting glance but my immediate thought was "single mum, no time to exercise on her own so takes her boys along - how wonderful - you go girl!!". Of course I could be entirely wrong and I have no idea why it cheered me up so much, but I've been thinking about it ever since. It's probably to do with my personal frustration at having no time to myself ever and therefore having no time to exercise and do my thing. This lady looked to me like she's cracked it!! :D

Hi everyone, new here. I'm trying to lose 4 stone by the end of the year. I started a month ago, have lost a stone and a half so far, purely by cutting out all the rubbish foods I was eating and eating sensibly.

Next week I'm starting swimming 3 times a week, hoping to reach my goal!

Hi everyone. Worst day ever here. My supervisor hasnt got back to me with feedback even tho he said he would so going to have to just hand in and hope for the best. Then I got a puncture and had to pay £65 for repair kit to get me to a garage and then a new tyre (it wasnt repairable i knew that so didnt mind using the crappy blow it up again stuff) and wasted loads of time there. Then, when trying to fry an egg as I was turning it over the dog went for a fly and knocked me, egg splatted in pan and loads of hot oil hit me in the face and chin. Hurts like !!!!!!y.

Before anyone tells me to go to the hospital tho I have, unfortunately, given myself some very serious burns over the years and scarred so have a very good burn kit and commonsense about me. It hasnt blistered in the last hour and a half so shouldnt do and goes white when i press it so is at worst a 1st degree burn which although touches a bit of my lip is nowhere up my nose or near eyes so not majorly serious just a possibly peel but be fine within a week thing. Just bloody annoying and sore!

Hope you've all had a better day than me! On the upside I have barely eaten and now cant face it either lol.
