still worried that they will find something serious bad on the 18th :(
Don't fret too much Eric I'm sure you will be fine. Why the sad face with people noticing your loss?? that must be a good thing ?

Morning:D for the last 2 weeks I have had to log every morsel and drink on a spreadsheet chart for the diabetic centre to analyze and see why the highs and hypos occur, I thought I was doing rather well as it takes ages but just got another email saying must put down timings also so now it is breakfast, lunch, dinner, bed, the dosage the carbs the timings the hypos, re check after 10 mins see if it has gone up and write that down as well:D
I'm just glad they have taken you seriously at last. Lets hope this gives you and them some answers :D Also glad things are going well DS too. He is lucky to have a good paying job at such a young age

BrightonBelle you are an absolute star HSthGoldStarsForYou_14053.gif I managed to make some lovely yoghurt using your instructions and I am so impressed by how light it is. Even my OH is really impressed too :A I hope all goes well with your meds and well done on selling your pieces :T I'm even more annoyed now that I didn't find the place. Sounds like my kinda stuff :(

Lois Lane I didn't listen but sorry it had a bad effect on you, some people seem to treat Obese children and adults like lepers and would probably treat dogs better than human beings. :( Such a shame the world is this way. Hope you have a better day tomorrow :)

because it means you have to face up to and admit you had become a blobzilla, that you had a problem, that you where in denial, and a 1000 and one other issues ...

and that there's still so far to go ...

still had a good week and only 21lbs to go till i can get on the digi scales and work out my BMI reasonably accuratly

Eric I think you need to stop looking at it being so bad and turning it in to a positive. Yes as you put it you had turned into a "blobzilla" but you have done something about it. People are noticing and commenting because you have done so well and I am sure they will continue to comment as you go even further. So take their supporting comments and use it to push yourself forward when you are feeling down and disheartened.

Also great news about your good week and 21lbs will soon go at your rate ;)

Would love to see more action on obese kids tho, not being taken into care or anything as extreme as that, but how about educating the parents, encouraging healthy eating etc etc etc.

My Mum could have done with some advice to help me lose weight - she's always been underweight so she really didn't know what to do. I'm 1 of 5 children and the only one that was obese, although we all ate the same things, which were reasonably healthy. She did try replacing bread with Energen rolls, but they were like cardboard and only palatable if I piled on plenty of butter! :rotfl:

Thanks - it did affect me quite a lot, the callers didn't seem to have any thought for the poor children they were talking about putting in care. I'm happy today. :)

You're right about people's attitude to the obese - being overweight is often associated with laziness and greed, and those labels don't apply to everyone.

its all part of the darkness that comes with being a disgusting mess

all i need is my anger at being so crap for letting this happen to me, thats enough drive there :)
