1/2 lb loss for me this week:j:j
I would like to thank my cook (oh that is me) my recipe finder(oh that is me) my shopper (oh that is me) the person that makes sure I don't eat any junk and stick to the good stuff(oh that is me):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks Eric, I agree that going by your % body fat is a better indicator (it's the one I take most notice of myself), I just wasn't sure what you meant by the term "true BMI".
I try to keep my body fat at or just under the lowest 'healthy' % for a female of my age, which always puts me a few points above the lowest 'healthy' BMI score so there is a discrepancy there. If I went by BMI alone I might be tempted to go lower, which could start putting me towards dangerously underfat (assuming I could actually lose any, which is unlikely judging by my year to date :rotfl:).
Congrats on the losses De1amo and Eric, and well done Victory I know you've waited a long time for that, bet it feels great!0 -
dmv - congrats on the house sale, good luck with the rest of it...I dunno, its been a while since I moved (and hopefully it will be even longer before I do it again) but there is something about liking your buyers that makes the whole experience worthwhile.:D
eric - congrats on the loss, I so admire your focus, could use some of it myself
victory - again, congrats on the loss, I know how frustrated you've been at your STS status. Do you think its because you've been having to log everything that goes in your mouth for the diabetes people? Has it made you more conscious about food? Also love the DS banana packing effort, what change in him from a few weeks ago! He'll have his season ticket in no time at this rate, what a fantastic lesson in real life for him, long may it last and well done you for being there for him in spite of his serious wobbly.
Well, I'm going to report an STS for me this week, mostly cos I forgot to weigh myself when I got up at 5am today but also cos I'm so off-track with my diet I'll need a bus ticket to get back on it again. My job is stalling and I'm bored out of my mind, too many changes in management and decisions made with suppliers etc at the top level to be able to make much progress on anything, so I'm largely twiddling my thumbs - and eating to pass the time. My OU exam is just over a week away and I'm trying to revise but finding it tough going, and I can feel myself starting to panic which means that my focus will just go out of the window - I know its happening but I'm feeling powerless to stop it.
I'm going to take the next week as a mental holiday from my so-called diet (so-called cos I've been ignoring it for so long), just to get my exam out of the way. I have a weekend away with a friend immediately afterwards so that's something to look forward to, after that I'll make some decisions about my job. There, that's all sorted then :rotfl::rotfl:£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Logging daily to save ups and downs I try to stick to the same carbs per gramms daily so it has some consistency, so I know what I am eating and the diabetic team can see morsel by morsel also:D It is a lot of work, the spreadsheet is massive, you have to put down date, time, carbs, insulin, what you ate, what you drank, 2 hours after what the blood sugars are, what lunch is, uhhm it is tiresome but hopefully will get some good feedback from it and be able to control it better:D
Thanks, my son is just perfect now, he has his own money coming in which in itself is a huge self confidence booster, he has 4 more exams to do and he has finished school, he has his hols to look forward to, it is all bright and breezy in his life now and the best thing he has interacted within the family unit again and even plays with the youngest and makes him laugh, now that is a beautiful sound:D0 -

i call it true BMI as most people know roughly what a BMI is, Correct Weight Index would be more accurate but then people would just go CWI ?????
Its getting hard now I had some spare calories that I was not eating to match my RMR and my goal loss I am now having to reduce my daily intake each time i loose weight, over the next 2 months at the current rate i will have to reduce my daily intake by about 200 cals which is going to be very difficult ....
each 1lb i loose costs me 8 cals a day that i cant burn of extra with exercise ...0 -
Surprise surprise, yet again STS. Gotta admit i'm consistent :cool:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
