Here's this weeks chart:
Congratulations to our SoTW Eric who's done a fantastic job in difficult circumstances.
Well done to all the losers and STSers and commiserations to the gainers.0 -
ERic following on from your conversation with Missy---since i first measured my hips and waist to get my reading of ,93 i have lost more off my hips than my belly and means i have actually gone up to ,94 --2 inches off hips and 1 inch off waist--i have still lost though???
when you say lean mass plus 15pc do you mean absolute nil fat plus 15pc----my total lean state is 59.6 kgs plus 15pc equals a target of 68,5 kilos(a bmi of about 21,8)-so is that my real target against 70kgs which i was led to think??mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0 -
Morning:D I am in work at 2pm and already at this time of morning I feel sick, keep thinking what if I have been marked and not passed? What if I have not been marked still have to wait? Got myself into a bit of a hyper mess over this one, who said a job is supposed to be fun?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Eldest is pretty much the same as me he sat a maths exam and regrettably feels he has made a mistake and not answered the correct questions, fortunately he has other ones that go towards his overall mark so he should be fine as the others he feels he has done well in.
Exams are a huge fear field for me, get so worked up, in my history o-level (yes vix that was what they were called in my day:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:) there were 3 questions you had to answer but 1 from each section, what did I do? Answer all 3 questions from the same section,result....failed:rotfl: Read the questions, read the questions:D0 -
Morning all
Thanks for the chart Fred and well done Eric for SOTW yet again!
I had a sneaky weigh in this morning and I'd lost another 2 pounds :j but I might need to keep that in the bank for next week, as it's the wedding this weekend.
Actually, we won't be back home until Wednesday so I won't be able to weigh in first thing  hmm, maybe I should pack the scales.... :rotfl:
Have a good week everyone.
LLStart BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.30 -

victory - your gonna be fine - you are better than them and you know it.
Yes - read the question - and then answer it!!always a good strategy, my problem with essays is that I can ramble on for ever with some very useful info but if it doesn't answer the question then - no marks! That's my biggest fear at the mo'. Had an email this morning from someone on my course who hasn't even started revising yet, somehow that makes me feel better about my current mental block  though she is much brainier than me and has been doing OU for longer so is probably used to it. I now have a plan and I'm gradually working my way through, but there is so much I sometimes feel like my head is going to explode. Good job I'm not very busy at work cos I have time to look things up and steal other people's ideas from the net.
eric - everything crossed for you now £2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Proud to be an OU graduate :j :j
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but learning to dance in the rain0 -
I used to get so told off at school for rambling the history/english literature essays, get to the point they would say, yes I see you have written 6 pages well done but you could have answered it in 1 page:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I do that is talking also, go on and on when one sentence will do:D0 -

It is not so much the waiting, although it is of course it is not knowing when the waiting is going to end, my eldest knows he gets his results in August and what date and time I have an open ended don't ask me again lingering pain:D0
