Hello everyone and well done all the losers!
Sorry I didn't weigh in this week - I've been on holiday (indulging a lot!) but I've just been to tescos now and bought a 'healthy food' kit of things that I know I like but are also good for me. It's Day 1 for me tomorrow when I hit the gym for the first time in ages!
I've decided to do some different classes to usual - maybe yoga and I like the idea of bodypump class. do any of you go to a gym? what classes do you favour? I tried aerobics but I feel like a bit of a twit prancing around in front of a big mirror!I'd like to save money by exercising at home but I actually find I'm much more driven in the gym (perhaps because there is no sofa and tv there!)
Also - I was wondering if anyone had seen the new TV show 'Cook yourself thin'?? I've watched a few (they are on in the middle of the day so i've been setting the sky+)
It's quite a good show - she takes someone's favourite meals and then does a low fat version for them.
Have a lovely weekend everyone  B.Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

unsurprisingly im going to disagree that exams are easier these days! GCSE's were blooming horrible, it feels like you have this huge moantain in front of you that you have to climb. Youre even doing exams in sunjects that youre not passionate about, or that you have a big weakness in. You parents want you to do well and you feel alot of pressure to do well. I think theyre horrible, the amount of exams you have to do in such a short space of time isnt fun!
scary: Its the problem with being young i thought, you think everything is going to come to you, that its going to be ok. I revised hardest for my sats in year 9, revised a little bit for my GCSE's and hardly anything in my a-levels. Degree was different. Being young is a curse! The future is never when your young, its about today and today only. As for the internet, i would cut it off. Bet they would revise then!
I went and got myself weighed at boots today. According to that i am 5'2.5 Which means ive shrunk, ive always thought i was 5'4!! So my body fat is 39.7%!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im not even going to comment on that! My BMI is 26 and i should weigh a maximum of 9 stone 13, and im currently 10 stone 8. I am now a member of the gym, and im going to enjoy that - and the hot men - that frequent such an establishment. I also bought myself some sports gear, and the last on my list is a decent pair of trainers, i wanna get the ones where i can put this nike chip in it to map my run. Looks well cool!!0 -
While your waiting to get the new trainers try mapmyrun.com or walkrunjog.net where you can measure a map of whereyou've been.
Bought myself loads of fruit and veg for the weekend as I really fancied them and was looking forward to my weekend treat of a bowl of cereal only to find I've run out! Oh well tere's my excuse to walk into the village and then can go for a run in the evening.0 -

Thanks vix - I have promised a friend that I would train with her for Race for Life (she's taking part - not me!) so I'll take a look at these, you never know it might inspire me to get my running shoes on again!
Off to a Football Party today, lots of food and booze no doubt. Will make up for it at aqua-aerobics tomorrow morning then its back to the revision! (I feel midnight sessions coming on from now until Thursday!).
Have a great weekend everyone - come on England!!! :T:T:T£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Sounds like we are very similar Vixarooni - I'm about the same height and weight as you. What's your target? I'd like the be 9 st 7 ideally. I know I am too heavy for my height but 39% fat is a bit of a scary thought (but thanks for the motivation)
I too am thinking about starting running. I know there are some local groups round my way so I might try a beginners group but I am scared of being rubbish in front of everyone!!Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

Ugh also just realised that the Cook Yoursefl Thin programme is sponsored by Alli - the diet pill!! Hardly a good thing to be promoting - surely people who watch this show just want good advice and not expensive pills.Betty B: The Eternal Procrastinator....

your are right, but the sponsors have nothing to do with the program, the program gets made and then someone buys the sponsorship for it normally theres not much of a link between the two0 -
hello all
I'm thinking of buying some scales that also show % fat etc as I think this might be quite motivating.
Can anyone recommend a pair based on ones they own?I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
