another week on my fat a$$ and another poor weekly loss, but to be expected after last week
that and 2 days of pigging out... grrr at family social things ...
however I have hit my next target which is my half way point :j 32 weeks left to loose the other half, will be very difficult to achieve if I continue this low rate of weight loss0 -
hezza you don't feel tired yet because your body is working on over drive, adrenalin, stress, the brain will not stop buzzing with essay ideas, what to write, will you have something for thursday and so far has not let you get to the collapse and sleep mode:Dit will come and you will sleep for hours then but not until you do something about the essay and feel at peace with what you have written:D
I'll be thinking about you on thursday, I have my 50 q&A then, I am doing the opposite, the scardy cat method, not picked up the books to revise because feel like I have failed it anyway so what is there to prove? Stupid attitude obviously but fear does that to me:D0 -
WTG eric Congrats :T:T:T:T:T:T4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

Now now victory - you know that's not the right attitude dont you.
By assuming you've already failed you are allowing those idiots at work get to you; just do your thing and try to ignore them, you know it makes sense.
Well I got to bed about midnight last night & slept really well for a change. Still waiting for the cream to take effect but I'm told that can take up to 4 weeks. My essay plan is more or less done, just doing some last bits of reading to find some good references then I'll be ready to write, so I'm feeling a lot calmer today.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Blimey, it all looks a bit different on here now doesn't it? Very colourful.
BBQ yesterday was lovely, we all sat out in the garden, and my wayward son even came home especially, and brought a friend with him. How things change huh? Still got plenty of cooked meat left over, so it's meat and salad for lunch, dinner and tea until it's gone.
I've been trying to get work done out in the garden, but that sunshine is so fierce out there right now, that I'm getting beyond tanned now on my chest/arms. I'm slapping on the factor 50, but it's still getting through. There's a lovely breeze out there today, so I'm doing some planting on the shady side of the garden.
More ebaying to be done too, as the extra £ is much needed right now.
Have a great week everyoneOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
sary I used to have masses left over from BBQ's 'just incase' more popped round or someone did not like something could have something else, now I do a 2 per person rule, 2 sausages or 2 chicken bits or 2 spare ribs so everyone gets something but not loads of it so we have to eat it endlessly:D it worked yesterday, maybe too well because it was all eaten and I heard myself saying 'is that it for the meat then?':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:youngest bemoaned the lack fo burgers, we bought cheap and nasty ones last time and the BBQ nearly went up in flames because of the grease:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
As for your son:D mine asked me last night if I would let him have some friends over so they could all watch the first match of the world cup together:D of course I said yes and will lay on some bits for them to munch on:D the peace in this house is fab
hezza I know, I will do it tomorrow;)
Just getting ready to go off to London for my arthritic appointment with my absolute favourite portugese professor of arthritic medicine and I am wearing wait for it, white:D and it fits:j it is brand new saved for the hols in the holiday draw, did not even know I had white cropped trousers and there they were all new, all fitting, all lovely and summery and fresh:D
Little things please me:rotfl::rotfl:0 -

Well done Eric, you've done really well.
Try not to get despondent about your current problems, you're obviously keen to achieve the goals you've set yourself, but realistically, it won't matter if you achieve them later rather than sooner - it's getting there that matters.

Hi all
Hope everyone had a good weekend and avoided getting TOO sunburnt! I'm still pale and interesting as I was working, but off for the next 2 days so may do a spot of sunbathing if the weather stays nice.
We're going to see The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo at the cinema tomorrow - anyone seen it? I really enjoyed the books so I'm hoping the film is as good.

Congrats Eric!!! :T Please don't stress about the next half, you're not even falling behind yet!You also wouldn't be the first person to find the final bit of weight takes a little longer to shed than you thought/hoped. (The last 20% of mine was a complete b*gger! :rotfl:)
I hope you're proud of what you've achieved so far!
Best of luck this week everyone!0 -
Hmm not sure im so keen on the new look forum. Green is such a pants colour in this context.
Weahter just sublime today, got a bit of brown for sure! Although i always feel a pang of "i shouldnt be doing this" and that pang will be huge when im 50 and have skin like a dead cows back side. Still, im looking hot right now so cest la vie and carpe diem.
Victory: I dont remember getting that "into the zone" with my essays, but then i only got a 2:2!! ha. So wish i was older when i done my studies, would have done so much better!
Oh god is it me or is all the men with their tops off completely RANK. Its the part of summer i loathe, with only one exception, a man jogging with an exceptionally fine body although his height really let him down!0
