Hello again, been missing in action - been really yeuch this week and ended up taking time off work and lying in bed. Cold symptoms, broken glass throat, dizzy, shakey and the occasional queasiness. Not good at all. I think I'm just really run down at the moment. Feeling human again today but still can't smell anything. Sorry I haven't weighed in this week (didn't even know what day Wednesday was to be honest)

Congratulations on getting your son back and the alien body snatcher vacating your house Victory. I'm so glad life has got back to normal for you - hope you all have a great weekend.

I've read back and LOL at all the life begins at ??? posts. I didn't meet OH till my mid 30s when we were both mature students, we still haven't got married, we're still trying to move into a house and still haven't given up on a baby (even though my biological clock is ticking rather deafeningly). I've came to the conclusion that life can pass you by, it doesn't matter what age you are unless you do something about it. In fact that's a good question...

How old is too old to have a baby?

Er, Get into bed with your OH right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PepPop~Suppose it all depends on how young you feel.
I am in my late 40's and it is hard being menoposal & having teenage hormones raging at the same time.

victory that passage you wrote was really interesting. It's nice to see i'm not alone in battling mind over body over common sense over guilt etc etc...You're right, we will always lust after the things we can't have (I will never be 5 ft 10 with perfectly straight hair, for example) but then the grass is always greener (my straight haired friends spends a lot of time with the curling tongs!) I guess that's why we have to tell ourselves that we are here not because we are vain but because we want to be healthy and feel good internally.

Anyway, dont really know how to word it but something in that post hit home with me. Oh and wel done on your 100% - rub it in their face and then put it on your CV and get outta there!! :)

Put my summer clothes on today and has a strop coz i'm too fat for summer, yet again. Tried to have a healthy day but OH bought me a Solero and didn't manage to get to the gym today. Will go to the park tomorrow and run about lots! Loving the sunshine - hope you're all out and about enjoying yourselves too.

i made the mistake of eating at work--the cook thinks i need feeding up and served me a massive chicken doner with a pile of rice--i felt compelled to eat it all for some insane reason--i felt uncomfortable after it and didnt eat again yesterday!-the only good thing was that i ate it earlier in the day than my usual main meal.

i thought their biggest loser were the cricket team and that has been done and dusted for another year !!
İs it a ashes series this year so we can beat them again on home turf?-makes me almost want to buy sky but then i think of my own real life and the time i have already wasted in my life watching tv.
any guesses to the calorie count on a huge pile of rice and a very man sized portion of chicken they call doner??
