I have bought myself some meringue (sp?) nests, has anyone got any suggestions for yummy LW toppings. There is very little I don't like eating so suggest away.

Meringue in bottom of bowl, covered in sliced strawberries, big spoonful of 0% Total then strawberry muller or equivelent poured over the top of that! Lovely!
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

Sorry I've been missing in action guys. Life seems to take over so much these days. I've been out & about sorting out practical things, birthdays, kids, OH, house, etc. I'm making the most of the nice weather and gardening lots too.

Today is my new Day 1. I am totally fed up with myself physically - again. I'm right back where I was a year & a half ago. The summer clothes I bought myself last year do not fit. I feel uncomfortable, and demoralised with myself. So, rather than feel fed up, I'm going to set about tackling it all again, and aim to feel better and happier.

It is summer here today and out comes last years clothes, the ones that are put away for the summer hols in Spain, they fit but are so darn tight the stomach spills out all over the place, looks unsightly and begs the question what is the point? Why bother? All the time watching what you eat, how much, how many cals, is life consuming for what? For the clothes not to fit and why not just opt for a bigger size and have a life? You can be fed up with it as you say, we all are, no one is happy with themselves 100% not even these super models:D even when I used to fit into the clothes comfortably I used to question all the time do I look right? What will people think? Am I still large? Why can't I loose anymore weight and look like the neighbours daughter that has a beautiful body (no, not turned:rotfl:just admire in envy) but no one knows what she has to go through to be able to walk down the street looking as fab as she does, she may envy others that eat carbs, or someone's colour of their hair, or their height or shoe size or colour of their eyes:D

I have learnt that whatever size I END up being, whatever size I have been and would want to be, I am not entirely happy, it doesn't bring me the peace, the confidence, my head is not set for if I loose this weight all my doubts will go, I will become a swam and ooze sex appeal, I am fighting a loosing battle but on I go for the achievement, the pride, the health, the clothes to fit, the bikini to wear, struggle on, bread the enemy when it used to be a pleasure, guilt the companion when before I never used to know how to spell it, voices in my head where there used to be silence, so am I better off now? I lost the weight, gained some, lost some, lived in guilt and fear of carbs, calories, fats and portion sizes, I have more energy and should be healthier but my arthritis has worsened 100% and my diabetes is out of control, I can wear colours that are not black but choose to wear darker ones to hide behind myself, bright ones make a statement and I have not got one most of the time, I still wear more trousers than dresses, more 3/4 length dresses than skirts, more over the knee skirts than shorts, more loose fitting than gok wan fitted clothes, still forget to accesorize, I haven't developed a love of clothes shopping as money prevents that so car boot sales are the places for me but even those do not fill me with overwhelming glee, I went from a swimsuit to a bikini and desperately miss the swimsuit days but know I can't go backwards, I should be grateful I did it, happy at the loss, singing and dancing ,free and gorgeous, I am, I will be and I did good, it doesn't take away the feelings of punishment, feeling different to everyone else and imagining no one suffers the weight loss/maintaining cause as much as me.

i never thought it but i have become a victim of propaganda--all the gym trainers have such great bodies and i want to emulate them-- how sad or shallow is that--i have loads of free time and feel myself drawn to the goal like a moth to a light--i have even caught myself looking in the mirrors of the changing rooms to see if there is change--thats a big İF.-still got a belly but no double chins!

its odd because my chest and arms look back to their youthfulness of my 30s but the gut is proving my last untamed mountain--i do lots of abs but like you say i am not patient--maybe end up an inpatient if i keep this up

There's no way you can control where you lose weight from, the abs work will strengthen and tone but not do anything about the fat stored there.
Got a bbq at a friend tomorrow and am armed with soft drinks and veggie burgers to try and avoid the dangers but still have fun

Victory, could I ask a favour - could you put a few more paragraphs and line breaks in when you post: I don't have dyslexia, but with large blocks of print like that the words move all over the place and I can't read it and end up skimming it sometimes and sure i miss stuff. Haven't read a novel in 2 yrs since it got worse. Thanks.

    How are you today beanie?

Any ideas what i can do with meat balls that doesn't involve tom sauce and pasta? Got some to use up in freezer and don't want to waste money by chucking them but we both realise we can't face them with the afformentioned and they keep being over looked.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once
