Sorry Beanie have never heard of Dragon.
Bit miffed had planned to do the ironing in front of the GP - logged onto the BB website for another reason and the winner of the race was plastered all over the front page. Don't they realise it requires severe motivation to do the ironing!0 -
Sorry beanie. I did put in a yuck warning as it was near lunchtime.
I'm fine. Had two retirement (semi- retirement!) parties last week, one for colleagues in school and one for colleagues throughout the locall authority. Both very enjoyable and involved eating a lot of inappropriate food, would have been rude not to. So certainly NOT going back on the chart just yet.
One also involved a lot of very inappropriate behaviour. It was great.0 -
Glad you had a good time Granny :gin:
It was GOOD i was put off lunch

Beanie - 76% is superb - that is within a "1st" category:T:T When I think of the extra work you have to put in to actually type it up..well what can i say other than stunning.
Granny - various scenarios of inappropriate behaviour and spinning round my head:D
Any sensible eating plan gone completely to pot at the mo.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Im feeling quite bright and happy this morning. So much so i popped into town and bought my family some patisserie valerie cakes and had a vanilla ice cream (one scoop)
for myself. It was drop dead gorge!!!!!!
I dont mean to be a bit of a downer on the haircomb diet but isnt it just another faddy diet like the atkins and everyother stupidly named diet there is? I guess what im learning as i get older is to not start anything bad!! Don't smoke and don't keep eating a whole box of chocolate fingers while crying to armaggedon like i did last night!
Ohh i completed my first ever working week yesterday. It wasnt too bad, apart from the realisation that this is my life for the next 40 years or more. I think i will have 6 children after all
Granny: Sounds very fun and that you will be greatly missed when you finally leave. P.s i dont eat lamb because that smells like its got farmyard all over it. Same with beef. So it would work quite well with poop!
Right i gotta go look around my godmothers bungalow. Fun times for the vixster.0 -

YUCK WARNING I heard about a friend who was hypnotised in order to eat less and as part of the process was 'instructed' to imagine that various foods were covered in poo. It worked a bit too well - and I suspect the hypnotherapist was drummed out of their professional association.
That is pretty much what Paul Mckenna does, he makes you imagine your food is covered in hairs, or stinks, or has been put in the bin, or is covered in insects etc that is what hypnotherapists do, the same as smoking when I did it 'imagine, the cig is setting your lungs on fire and that your lips are burning and stinging' worked for 3 months:D if food did not smell so nice and look so good and we imagine it will taste so lovely then the hypno would work a treat:D I do visualize bad things though and sometimes it does work and puts you off and crisis averted0 -
Thank you BBelle.
