Eric - sending you healing vibes. Hope you get on ok with the consultant.
Having a RUBBISH time at the moment, between wisdom teeth and carp going on at work, so I'm completely stressed out and forgot to weigh in this morning. Can you put me down for STS please Fred and I'll weigh myself tomorrow? Although I suspect it will be a gain.0 -

Well done De1amo!!!! :T:T:T
Eric a 1.1lb loss is a LOSS all the same, don't beat yourself up:)
Katmad I usually have a tortilla wrap with lots of salad and either chicken or tuna, really yummy. I tend to put my salad and chicken/tuna in a box and take my wrap seperate, that way I can have more salad stuff, rather than trying to pack it all into one wrap! It's really scrumptious, just started on Branston Tomato and Red Pepper Relish, lovely and fresh for the summer! If I don't have tortilla I have sandwiches/soup/jacket potato/pasta salad/couscous with roast veggies...
It's best to try and find two or three different lunches that you can alternate throughout the week, otherwise you will get so bored eating the same thing everyday:)
mazza good idea about the purse situation, hope the next week is better for you!
Well done to everyone else on the losses and STS
I am reporting a 2lb loss this week, and very chuffed with it indeed:D:D:D:D

Morning all
Reporting in with a 2lb gain for me, and a 2lb loss for Superman. Not too happy with my result, considering I had big ideas about losing 2.5 stone for our son's wedding, which is now a month away, and I've only lost 13.5lbs. Anyway, made a decision this morning, today is Day One, and I'm going to focus my mind.
I've got my outfit now, I'm pleased to say, so I don't want to lose too much or it will be too big, but I'd be pleased to lose some before the wedding and there's plenty I can lose after it.
Working is making it difficult as our hours make it impossible to have meals at proper times, and being on my feet all day means I don't feel like exercising, but I'm going to force myself. I've also been focussing on shopping for the wedding outfit on our days off, but now it's all sorted I can focus my attention on exercise instead!
Hope everyone's doing well.

not when you still have 200lbs to loose, no one could stay motivated for that long, 2 years of constant starvation mode, cant be done even a saint doesnt have that kind of will power
failure becomes a serious option0 -

I have the same amount to lose Eric and I am happy to lose my 1 lb a week. Failure is NOT an option. I would lose a lot more than a pound a week if I stuck to the plan better:o
I can not exercise, I eat very very well, I follow the Slimming World plan which provides me with unlimited amount of meat, fruit, veg, pasta, rice etc.
I know it is slow but at least it is very enjoyable. You are right though - 2 years of starvation mode is unthinkable! So why not change your eating plan? You will have plenty of variety to eat and still have a glass of wine with your dinner. Only really limited foods are the breads & fats & dairy. And they are in there - just limited!
MarionWhen life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -
Eric, failure is only an option if you let it be an option, lets face it you didn't put that much weight on over 6 months, or even a year, you know better than any that the weight loss is a slow process. It has it's set backs, and you have been doing AMAZINGLY!! You can continue to do so, you know how to work all the systems and information to your advantage, you have given so many of us here on this forum so much hugely important information that we really have to thank you for sharing your knowledge. We are all here to kick you up the bum and say, it's not all doom and gloom, you lost a 1lb, ok not your target, but you didn't put a lb back on!! Thats got to be good, hasn't it? I really hope the doc's allow you to keep exercising even if only gently, but keep that chip up Eric.
I am glad to say I also lost 1lb this week. You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -
