Just updating what I've done so far and what needs doing. Not done very well this week at all. Oh well I might get chance to catch up on a fair bit tomorrow as the eldest 3 are now at their Dad's house for the night so there's only me and baby to sort out. Unless I decide to go out somewhere for the day that is!

I DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :T:T:T
My Big 15 mile Walk! Was going to do all 3 peaks but hurt myself on the first mountain and really struggled on the second so very wisely finished on the second. Got a little silver certificate too! So so proud of myself, I have come a long way since last year.
It was great seeing all of the people also doing this, wherever you looked there were all different colours of coats and rucksacks. Lots of different ages as well.
We were very lucky with the weather so thank you to those who wished "good weather" vibes! and lots of new lambs all playing, a few buzzards out too, wonderful!
I have had a soak in the bath, on my third cuppa and have taken some painkillers for my poor muscles - fairly sure i pulled the muscles in my hips as I fell over a few times in the mud.
Anyway needless to say there will be very little flying for the rest of the weekend!
take care all
1 step closerIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Emzy there are no stupid questions.
Pigpen hugs for Tiddles, and her super flexibility. Poor darling.
Decluttered visit from elderly NN, wm on again. DDs infested with headlice after we had nailed them before (lice not DDs) so more treatment tonight. Itchy anyone? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
Well done 1step, :T i don't think i'd be able to stand up if i'd walked 15 miles.

Well done 1step - hope you're not too stiff tomorrow after all the walking!
Grateful, no I'm not itchy - we had a letter from school the other day and checked the kids out - nothing to be seen (not like last time when we got 17 from DD ) Have you got tea tree conditioner? We tried and it helped a lot.
Pigpen, doesn't sound like you had much fun at the shoe shop with Tiddles. I'm sorry to hear she has such problems. Hope your and your mum's backs get better soon - sounds like you could do with a nice soak in a bubble bath this evening.
Onestep, sorry but I'm as much use as a chocolate teapot where gardening is concerned. I'm sure the experts will be on soon to help you out!
Mumto5, glad DS1 had a nice day with the others despite him being less than keen to go. I'm dreading it when my 2 get to be teenagers - told DH I'm leaving home!
Just about to put the kids PJs on and then got another couple of typing jobs to do this evening if I can (great Saturday night eh!) At least the money will go towards paying for my glasses I got earlier today.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
((((hugs)))) for Tiddles, poor little lamb, my sister has sugery to straighten hers (was ligament & tendon issues) at nearly 16 which helped, before that she got lumps on her feet all the time. After years of problems it was a podiatrist who noticed what was wrong with my sister.

Mumof2, yep send your your DD round, plenty of plants to pot on.
My garlic is growing at a mad rate, going to have about 12 or so small pots to sell at the car boot, I reckon about 50p each, I only spend about £3.50 on a load of plant seeds and the garlic was included, nice profit.
Spent 3 hours in bed !!!!!!

Onestep, Completely OT but it is the weekend
. I find garden design books fall into two categories - the pretty picture type and the practical ones that have suggested designs for you to adapt to your plot. The best two I have are 'small garden planner' by Roger Sweetinburgh, and '20 best garden designs' by Tim Newbury. They give great ideas for shapes and then you can adapt and plant to suit your plot/budget. They would have been charity shop or bargain bookshop purchases.
1step -well done you. I would love to do something like that once the boys are bigger.
I used to howl all the way to the shoe shop, yowl about the only pair that fit my wonky feet that had to be ordered and made specially at great expense, and then yowl again two weeks later when we went to collect them and them howl all the way to school because I hated them. I also didn't sleep, eat anything or master the art of staying dry till a very late age. My Mum cries laughing if I say anything at all about my boys being a pain:cool:
I have just cruelly made a teenager empty the DW . I have to refill it myself or my mild OCD kicks in.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
